“I had an excellent stay at this VRBO in Santiago, Dominican Republic. The space was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with plenty of amenities. “The apartment was not properly cleaned. There was an opened water bottle in the fridge with salt in it, clearly used and left for a new guest, lack of attention to detail and hygiene. I had tried to cancel earlier but couldn’t, so I confirmed with the host to proceed. Later, they called saying they would keep our belongings due to a misunderstanding with Expedia, which was very unprofessional. Overall, a terrible experience. I would not return or recommend.”
