Room layout seems very dated. It was spacious enough for 2 adults, but not user friendly. The 9th floor hallway wallpaper design is a bit bizzare, with a colourful wine bottles on shelves motiv. Low ceiling, about 6 feet, may not be suitable for taller guests.
The amenity I really appreciated was the free shuttle to the New Chitose Airport after check-out. It departed exactly at the scheduled time, the vehicle was spacious and comfortable and the driver was efficient and very courteous - loaded and unloaded our luggages for us.
The hotel breakfast buffet was ok at 1,300 yen. It offered a wide variety of Japanese and Western food items. It could be improved by offering warmer food on items such as scrambled eggs, bacon and grilled fish. The coffee blend was delicious and kept hot.
We found a lovely yakitori restaurant run by a couple of ladies. They offer real Hokkaido charcoal roasted fare. I enjoyed the cozy, local environment in the tatami room. Several choices of izakaya and restsurants/ bars are within a block of the hotel.
The hotel was likely built before accessibility existed. The retro-fit ramp leading up the steps to the front entrance is just wide enough for a full size cater suitcase. It was a bit tricky for me to guide it down the ramp in the winter snow and ice.
At the pricepoint we paid, I had expected a better facility. It was okay for a one night stay.
