We loved our stay at the Manatee 3BR suite! It’s a shared single story rental with 2 other separate attached suites but each has its own private entrance. The shared areas were never really crowded with other “neighbors”, just a passing “good morning or hello”. The back private porch was quiet and relaxing with a great view and string lights. There is no kitchen cabinet space to store dried goods but there is a small pantry closet next to the bedroom that can be used. We did use the link sent to us at check in email to rent beach chairs/umbrellas and that was dropped off prior to our arrival and left at our front door, super convenient. The house location is perfect, a block walk to the beautiful beach, also not as crowded at that entrance compared to other accesses. It’s a short 10min walk to the shopping strip on Pine Ave, which had plenty of cute beach shops. Spring break was busy so the wait for coffee at North Shore Cafe was about an hour at peak morning times. The Donut Experiment was a hit with the kids, order online so you don’t wait in the line. The Waterfront restaurant had the best grouper tacos and the AMI beach hut had the best ice cream and has a connected small convenience store to get essentials and beer. We would definitely stay again if we visit AMI!

This property was exactly what we expected, great location, plenty of room for all 6 of us. Fantastic outdoor spaces between the pool, lagoon, deck, patio and beach within walking distance. The only negative was we couldn't check in until exactly 4pm and we arrived at 3pm. Would defintely recommend and stay here again.

Perfect Location

We had an amazing staying in the Manatee suite. It was located at the end of the property and had the best view of the lagoon. Unit was spacious with a large indoor and outdoor table for guests to hang out. The best part was all the amenities…kayaks, mini golf, life size chess board and pool with shallow area great for kids. Walking distance to all the restaurants and beach!! Will definitely be back.

wonderful stay at this vacation home

We had a wonderful stay at this vacation home in a fantastic location! It’s just a short walk to the beach, which was perfect.The only small issue was the low water pressure in the bathroom sinks – but the showers worked just fine. Nothing worth complaining about, just a note to check it.Overall, a great place to stay. We’d definitely come back!

Manatee Lagoon

We enjoyed our stay at the manatee lagoon three bedroom. My husband and our friend enjoyed fishing off of the dock . The beach is a short walk away probably one block . Was very happy to see there were fishing poles there and some tackle to use as well. Having the beach wagon and umbrella was nice to have available to us as well as some beach chairs. The only downfall was the bedroom with the double beds did not stay cool enough at night and the grill outside had a couple burners that needed replaced. These miner things were not a dealbreaker and informed the owners that these two things should be addressed for future guest. CS

Happy with our stay

I stayed here with my husband, 2 kids (1 & 7), my parents and nephew (14). The outdoor space was everything and more, plus the beach was about 2 blocks away. The only complaint would be the size of the rooms. It was really hard to get a pack in play or crib to fit - half of it was in a closet.

Winter weekend getaway

The house was perfect. We really enjoyed all of the amenities/activities the property had to offer. Perfect location in walking distance to Pine street. Kayaking in the lagoon was a huge bonus.

Paradise

We had an amazing weekend in Anna Maria Island and loved our stay at the Manatee Suite. The property is beautiful, well-maintained, and so charming. Our suite was clean, well-maintained, and perfect for our girl's trip. The host had everything we needed and more. A wagon for the beach, beach chairs, floats, towels etc... Everything was exceptional. We highly recommend this rental and plan on returning next year.

Perfect Fall Break

This property was perfect for our fall vacation to AMI! The location has access to the section of beach that is quiet. All the amenities were exactly as described and perfect for our kids (14 & 7). We took the kayaks out on the canal and the property had beach items that came in handy! Would recommend this property to anyone looking to vacation in AMI. We are already planning a repeat vacation for next fall!

Great location, beautiful property, excellent amenities

We stayed in the Manatee. I have nothing to complain about. The location is perfect. A couple minute walk to the beach, and in the area where you end up having a lot better beach to beachgoer ratio. The property was beautiful, very well-maintained, and the responsiveness of the property manager was Great. We had an excellent time there, enjoying the many amenities that the property has to offer. We went kayaking in the lagoon, played chess on the giant chessboard outside, used the pool every day, enjoyed a little putt putt, and relaxed in the many outdoor seating areas. Parking is assigned, and therefore plentiful. Lots of great restaurants just steps away from the property. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful. A block from the beautiful beach, plus a canal in your backyard with kayaks! Best of both worlds. Inside, modern and updated, brand new, nice "cottage style" but modern. My wife and 2 teenage kids stayed for 2 nights. Will definitely return. Also, a pool (if you need it). lol Bedding was neat and clean, and bathroom/showers great. And a nice spot, walking down the street, North Shore Diner/Coffee - Great!
