Summary:
A 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo on the third floor, Pacifico C-306 in Coco has a nice ocean view looking over red tile roofs. This gorgeously decorated, air-conditioned unit has a fully equipped kitchen with granite counters and a bar that seats three, plus a round wooden dining table for four.

The Space:

The living room has a sectional sofa, a TV and big, bright flower art. One bedroom has a queen bed and one has a king bed and TV, also with an ocean view. The attached bathroom has his and hers sinks and a separate shower and bathtub. This condominium complex has four swimming pools and a poolside restaurant/bar, and there’s an outstanding grocery store just outside its gates.

Why Pacifico C306 in Coco

Pacifico is the top residential vacation resort in Playas del Coco, with four swimming pools, a poolside restaurant/bar and beautifully tended gardens. It’s about eight blocks from the beach, next to Coco’s vibrant main street.

Staying at Pacifico gives you access to the Pacifico Beach Club, which offers the best beachfront lounging in town. Daily rates for adults are $35 per person, which $25 is applied toward food and drink. The Pacifico resort itself is located several blocks from the beach, but a shuttle is available to take guests to the Beach Club, which has two beautiful infinity pools, fine dining, a well-stocked bar and of course a beach.

Pacifico offers gated 24/7 security with a guard, and a parking spot is included in the building. The unit has a washer/dryer, and maid service is available upon request.

Pet-friendly policy

We welcome your furry friends at our property! Before you book, each pet must be verified and approved based on breed and size (max 35 lbs.), accompanied by a recent photo. A refundable pet fee of $200 per stay, along with an additional cleaning fee of $50 + 13% per pet, is required to ensure our home remains pristine for all guests. We allow up to two pets per reservation. Pets must be kept on a leash at all times in public areas within the property grounds. Certain properties and complexes may have specific rules and registration requirements. Pets need to be verified at least 24 hours prior to check-in. If guests arrive at check-in with unverified pets, access to the property will be denied.

The Neighborhood:
Pacifico is the premier resort community in Playas del Coco, with over 300 luxury condominiums, elegant swimming pools and marvelous views. This securely gated development has private walking trails, hot tubs, aquarobics, an on-site fitness center, pickleball and tennis courts. A “lazy river” swimming pool meanders in curves through the middle of the complex, with a poolside restaurant and bar.

In addition, the Pacifico Beach Club offers the finest beachfront dining, lounging and swimming in town, with two sparkling infinity pools overlooking a grassy space with sunbathing lounges and shaded cabanas. Known for its vibrant nightlife as much as its chill pace, Playas del Coco claims to have been the first beach town in Guanacaste reachable by road. Its proximity to the Liberia airport is a plus, and it’s even closer to the nearby beach towns of Ocotal and Hermosa.
On weekend nights on the main drag, live music and DJ beats pour out of the popular Zi Lounge and Coconutz restaurants (among others).
Coco is home to an upscale Auto Mercado grocery store, the exclusive Pacifico resort community and much more. Many foreigners have come to visit and never left. You can often find these happily aging expats swapping tales at the big rubber tree in front of Bambú Beach Front Bar, or just watching the world go by from one of the open-air bars downtown.

Getting Around:
Our agents will be happy to assist you with renting a car, giving you the freedom to explore the area where you want, when you want. For short drives to nearby towns or beaches, golf carts are another popular mode of transportation. You can also rent a bicycle to ride around in town or beyond.

We can arrange transfers to and from the airport. Rental cars can also be delivered to your property at no additional cost, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery as our private van drives you here from the airport.

Taxis are available but can be a bit hard to find. Many locals use buses to get around, though there are a limited number of routes and times of day when you can catch them. Private shuttles can be a great option for traveling to nearby destinations, and many tour companies offer transportation to and from the tour. Our information brochure will provide you with useful information on local transportation options and points of interest, as well as contact information for taxis and shuttles.

Special Places of Costa Rica is committed to protecting our properties and keeping up-to-date with short-term rental regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete our independent verification. Before your stay begins, you will need to verify your details with us to complete your booking. You will be contacted via email and/or text to complete the verification. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. Some construction — and a discount

Please be advised that Pacifico is currently undergoing an expansion involving the construction of new ocean-view condos. Crews will be working 10 days straight, with three days of rest, until completion of the first two buildings in February 2025. Every effort will be made to minimize disruption to guests, but in consideration of this construction project, Special Places is offering a 10% discount on all Pacifico properties until it’s over. This discount is already reflected in the price listed for this unit.

Condo was clean, spacious and had a decent view. The lower review is because it's very cheaply made, furnishings and decor was 'hotel' grade with no character. If you want a big space and a comfortable bed, it does the trick. If you are looking for more of a human touch or details, this isn't your place.

Both beds were way beyond their useful life.....lumps, etc....they need to be replaced. Body shower soap was worst ever had used. The liquid hand soap was better. Coffee maker leaked water....not safe.

We rented this condo for 6 weeks and absolutely loved it! The entire resort is amazing - the pool area is perfectly designed. It even has 2, 25 meter swim lanes which was utilized a lot! We never had trouble finding loungers, and it didn’t matter what time of day we went. We didn’t mind the hike up the hill to the condo but if you’re, injured or disabled you may want to rent a golf cart. We walked almost every morning up the big hills throughout Pacifico which was fantastic exercise! On occasion you’d see the howler monkeys or the lone male monkey residents call Bongo. You could also see the howlers around dinner time near the dog park. We walked everywhere and didn’t feel we needed a golf cart or car. In fact it’s almost faster to walk downtown than take a cart! The place is very well equipped. We did buy a briquette BBQ as there wasn’t one. We were missing a toaster when we arrived but one text and we had it within a few hours. We had no other issues with the place. Perhaps the only negative was the main shower which could really use a good cleaning or even tile replacement. The water is very hard so it’s difficult to keep calcium from building up. We rented a car for a few days and drove to Monteverde. Highly recommend this! We also went to Tamarindo - highly recommend eating at Panga’s for a sunset dinner. We also went to Playa Conchel and Playa Flamingo. All were beautiful beaches and each different. We would definitely stay here again. It’s very quiet and accessible to everything. We even took the city bus into Liberia for a day which cost us about $1.00. Whenever I sent a message to the property manager it was responded to very quickly - even later in the evening! Very friendly and helpful! A great view from the balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee and evening sunset. Can’t say enough good things about this place!

I love to stay in Pacifico, but this specific condo is the worst I have stayed at. I would not rent it again. The big advantage is the covered parking, but the condo has significant issues that have not been addressed, by reading the guest book. The appliances are woefully outdated, and we had the microwave vent fall off until we found some glue on hand to fix it. There is no balcony off the MBR as there is in other Pacifico units. Pacifico is terrific, but this specific condo is not.
