Great property and location. We used as a home base for family of 4 for beaches and rain forest excursions. Saw monkeys and tropical birds from the deck most mornings which was unexpected. House had beach accessories - chairs, plenty of towels, cooler. Very clean when we arrived. Host was responsive.

We absolutely loved this home away from home. It was a gorgeous and peaceful setting, and the home was well-equipped. I appreciated the abundance of towels and pool/beach accessories. The home was clean, spacious, and inviting. We had 1 problem with the shower drains, and the property manager addressed it immediately--quick fix! It was also fun that there was a Christmas tree set up since we were visiting over the holidays.

Incredible stay! Beautiful house! There were 3 couples and it was perfect. Very spacious with plenty of seating inside and outside. We loved watching the sunsets and the monkeys on the monkey bridge. Thank you for sharing your home!

Had a great stay with friends. The house was even better in person. The rental agency staff were very easy to deal with, the location was perfect for our fishing trips, and plenty of restaurants close by. The house came stocked with plenty of starters such as soap, shampoo, paper towels, coffee filters, etc. Also, plenty of towels for all four of us. Nice sized home, both indoors and outdoors (the pool and animals were fantastic). I would definitely rent the home again. Thanks again for a great stay!!!!

Amigos de Tortuga has it all!

Amigos de Tortuga has it all! All the amenities you want and need on vacation, the owners have thought of everything one would need on vacation and it’s here for you. We stayed at this lovely home with my daughter and her boyfriend and all week long I was thinking about all the positive things I wanted to say in my review. We have stayed at many homes across the world and this one is at the top of our list. The house is new and very well maintained. Located in the gated Palo Alto neighborhood in Playa Hermosa, this house is perfect in being quiet and private with enough accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and some nightlife. The usual disappointment at other homes when things have been broken or worn out does not happen here. Such a refreshing experience. Every light switch is labelled, rugs on every bedside, AC’s and fans in every room, well appointed kitchen, clean pool, deck, and yard. Even after a long day in the sun my husband said, he could surely use a back scratcher and there one was. Lol. And cue the howler monkeys stage right, almost a visit every afternoon in the trees beyond the pool deck. Our CR contact through Zindis was Gus and he diligently answered all our needs in a timely manner. We loved our experience and would definitely book again! Worth every $!

Great winter getaway

The house is well equipped with high quality kitchen utensil. and towels. The listing does not include the pool and sand toys that are available. I would have been great if the pool cleaners ( or someone else) also cleaned the deck. A detailed list of where to put trash, where to find 6 beach chairs etc would eliminate having to ask. It would also be nice if the house had a least one beach umbrella. We dragged one along and while many beaches have shade it is not close to the water. House had screens and fans in all rooms and all beds and sofas very comfortable.

Amazing Holiday Home!

This house was everything they said it was and more. A lovely location in a private neighborhood with stunning sunset views. The pool was perfect and had plenty of comfortable outdoor seating. Inside was luxury. A fully equipped kitchen allowed us to easily prepare meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Groceries are available within minutes of the house. The beach is a 15min walk from the house or a 3min drive. Playa Hermosa is a short drive from the airport and many Costa Rica attractions. We would definitely return!
