Situated on top of a hill behind the hamlet of Sarzana (A lovely Medieval village between Liguria and Tuscany) Villa Dea has been restored to a very high standard whilst maintaining its rustic style and original features using local materials.
With its fabulous outdoor activities such as a large swimming pool, a children’s play area, a beach volley and wellness area with gym and sauna, Villa Dea is definitely one of the most sought after luxury villas of Italian Riviera.
The days can be spent here relaxing with a book by the pool, sipping a good glass of wine by listening to the chirping of the birds. On sunset charming candlelit outdoor evenings will make your stay full of joy for sure !

ACCOMMODATION

On the ground floor, the entrance offers a large living room with an antique stone fireplace and wooden beam ceiling, perfectly equipped to ensure excellent comfort with a 55″ TV and home theater, whose color scheme harmoniously integrates with the twentieth century style and the traditional Tuscan stone and terracotta floor. The living room also has a large digital safe.

From the living room there is access to a large terrace with electric and air-conditioned pergotenda that allows you to eat outside, enjoying an excellent view.
Available for guests a large wood-fired barbecue ideal for preparing wonderful dinners.

The kitchen is equipped with original Carrara white marble worktops and a rustic design sink complete with modern appliances (dishwasher, refrigerator, American coffee maker and 2 ovens, one classic and one microwave). The dining area is equipped with a large table, chairs and rustic style benches.

Note: on request, the living room can have a comfortable double sofa bed.

From the living area you can reach the upper floor through a beautiful stone staircase, obtained from the nearby quarries of “Cardoso”, where we find the accommodation of 2 suites and a triple room, extremely comfortable and furnished to the smallest detail with elements of excellent quality such as pillows and mattresses in Memory Foam.

Bedroom 1: (Sleeps 4):
1 Double bed “Queen size” with a comfortable sofa that can be transformed into a bunk bed.
The room is incredibly bright thanks to the 3 windows, offering breathtaking views of the Gulf of La Spezia, the Island of Elba, Corsica and the beautiful Tuscan coast with Forte dei Marmi and Viareggio.

Bedroom 2: (Sleeps 4)
1 Double bed “Queen size” / digital safe, 1 single “foldaway” bed, 1 baby cot / crib.

Bedroom 3: (Sleeps 2/3 )
1 Bunk bed ( 2 single beds), 1 Foldaway single bed. The bedroom is connected to a little terrace with garden view and access to the court yard.

Special note: All bedrooms have TV, CD / DVD player, free Internet access, precious bedlinens and high quality bedspreads, as well as embroidered towels.

BASEMENT:
1 well-equipped gym, 1 sauna, 1 bathroom with shower, 1 laundry area with washing machine and dryer.

GROUND FLOOR:

Villa Dea is located within easy reach of the area’s main sights of outstanding natural beauty or historic and artistic interest, such as: the medieval town of Sarzana (10 mins); the Cinque Terre villages; the Gulf of Poets; Porto Venere; Portofino; the Apuan Alps and the white-marble quarries of Carrara (20 mins by car); the beaches of Versilia (30 mins by car); the famous Tuscan towns of Pisa (40 mins by car), Lucca (30 mins by car) and Florence (1 hour and half).
Many other unspoilt beaches dotted along the nearby coast can be accessed by car in about 15 mins.
Regular daily ferry services operate from the local ports of Lerici, La Spezia and Marina di Carrara (15 kms away) to the Gulf of Poets; Porto Venere; the Cinque Terre villages; Portofino; and Genoa.
