Beautiful large estate with many option to keep little ones busy! Plenty of bedrooms that weren’t stacked next to each other but spread out in such a way that each family could have their own area to repose. From the very large indoor pool, fishing in the large pond to foosball and pool tables, the family had many memories made. Thank y’all for sharing your multi generational home!

Amazing Family Time at Double Acres

We discovered this gem of a property online and we are so glad we did. The property is very clean with tons of amenities for those looking to host a family event or large gathering. The number of bedrooms and baths made it easy to accommodate our multigenerational family during our most recent vacation. All the appliances worked great and it also had an outdoor grill. The best part about this property is the serene location, the pond, the rocking chairs on the porch and the indoor swimming pool and hot tub. It is indeed a mini resort! It is also located very close to Biloxi for those who want to venture off-sight. Me and my family had a wonderful time bonding here and hope to return soon. The host (Jay) was extremely gracious and was very responsive if we had any questions or needed anything. I highly recommend anyone looking to spend quality time with family and friends, to check it out.

Family Celebration of Life

Our extended family of six siblings stayed together in celebration of the life of our parents, who have both passed away. It was a wonderful time having each of our families stay together under one roof. James was the most helpful, communicative, and kind host. The property had something to do for everyone. We loved our time eating together on the long family dinner table and rocking out on the front porch, laughing and reminiscing. The kids enjoyed the game room and pool. The bedrooms were great spaces with ample room. All of our needs were met!

Wonderful retreat

Our family wanted for nothing at this home! Everything was clean and wonderfully kept! This home has so much to offer and the owner's was very accommodating and got back to our very needs very promptly! The kids had a blast as well as all the adults! Wonderful getaway

Even Better

This was the 2nd year our group gathered at Jay's place. Our experience was even better than the first year. The place has everything you could want for a getaway but Jay added a few new amenities. Arrival and departure are easy. We plan on making this an annual event. On top of having a nice place, Jay is really easy to work with and an overall nice guy. Looking forward to next year

Repeat Trip

For the second consecutive summer our extended family, consisting of 18 people ages 6 to 74, has stayed at this property. Throughouy our stay weve fished, swam in the indoor pool, relaxed in the hot tub, played arcade games, enjoyed a cup of coffee on the porch, cooked breakfast, lunch, and dinner on the griddle, built puzzles, played card games, somehow set up a pickleball court (and tournament), shot pool, played foosball, played Kan Jam, and even had an ultimate frisbee match at Jays property. But most importantly, we all spent quality time together as a family. And for the 2nd year straight, our kids have called this their "Best Vacation Ever", better than any beach trip or mountain trip. We certainly hope to return here for future vacations. Thanks again Jay!

Impossible to Describe!

If you have a large group that is a drive away, there can't be a "better option". You get on property, its clean, its as organized and intuitive as a 10,000 sq ft structure with an indoor pool (think hotel indoor pool too) could possibly be! If you can drive, you know that in the Southeast US, weather is unpredictable and the wrong rental on the wrong weather pattern can make a lot of people who did a lot to get there uncomfortable. Not here! The 18 guest who stayed two nights could have stayed two weeks before we could have possible played/fiddled or even uncovered all the fun already on site and included in the cost! Luckily- we got the good weather pattern and didn't have to worry and I can assure you that it would take much longer than two weeks to fully enjoy what is on property via outdoors adventures. Truly beautiful. Incredibly easy and straight forward. My take-away is, as the business owner who rented this facility, I have now seen what I would like my next business venture to look like because I would LOVE to be able to show as much self and property pride as Jay does for his operation every time a group writes a review!

Unbelievably perfect!!!

Double acres surpassed any expectations we could have dreamed of! Our team needed this time away together to bond and really start meshing together! I’ve been bringing teams to the coast for tournaments during spring break for years, but none compare to this experience. The house gave them so many activities to do together and ultimately define themselves as a team! Fortunately with our scheduling, they were able to stay up late (3:30 am) and sleep in as late as they wanted with late games the next day, and that’s exactly what they needed. They needed each other outside of their normal routine! We are so grateful for this house and what it offered to really help our team reach new levels! Thank you so much for everything! The host was absolutely top of the line when it came to communicating! Around the clock, he answered all questions so thoroughly to make sure that we had everything we could possibly need! We will be back next year and hopefullly years to come!
