“The gite was super clean with comfortable beds. A lot of thought has been put into the layout. I really appreciated that ventilation had been put into the kitchen and downstairs bedroom, meaning that damp wasn't an issue, as it can sometimes be in old properties. The garden is fantastic, with half shade, half sun and there is garden furniture for both eating and relaxing. One thing to note is that wi-fi isn't available in the gite itself. Wi-fi is available in the owners' hotel, next door. ...

“Very peaceful location nestled in a large shrub and tree filled garden. The accommodation was super clean and well equipped with a quirky staircase. The whole place has a relaxed feel with Mark and Lisa as welcoming and helpful hosts. Do we recommend? Yes and we are planning a return visit next year to prove it. ”

“We had a wonderful stay at the property in Montsoreau. The house had been beautifully renovated with everything we needed for a relaxing week away. We particularly enjoyed the small courtyard garden, which was a little sanctuary in the providing a cool place to eat our meals surrounded by the lovely plants.
