  • Welcome to Pettaquamscutt Lake Shores the ideal Narragansett neighborhood for guests looking to experience all the summer activities Narragansett has to offer.
    Located a 5 min walk away from private, neighborhood Narrow River access, guest can canoe, kayak or paddle all the way down to Town Beach. This home also offers a central location to explore the other great beaches Narragansett and South County have to offer while still providing guests close proximity to restaurants and shops. Last but not least, the family friendly neighborhood allows guests to relax away from the summer crowds. This property is also a short 15 min drive to attractions in both Jamestown and Newport. We look forward to hosting your stay!

Casa meravigliosa

La casa è stupenda. Pulita, grande, abbiamo fatto il barbecue. Materassi comodi. Un bel giardino. Trovate lavatrice e Asciugatrice. Il quartiere è molto bello a 15 minuti scarsi da New Port, a 30 da Providence, a 2.30 da Provincetown.

Very clean house. We really enjoyed our stay. Owner had left snacks and water for us which was a really nice touch. We would definitely stay again.

Relaxing and spacious

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at this lovely beach house. So much space to spread out. We wish we could stay longer. The photos do not do justice to how nice this place is.

Great place; Convenient Location

Loved this place. It set up perfectly for our family. 2 BRs upstairs and 2 downstairs provided a second unit within one house.Concenient to Newport, Narragansett and all of coastal RIs offerings. Spotless and well appointed, Doug is the perfect host, his recommendations were all spot on We plan on returning

Perfect place for our needs

Nice, clean house with spacious bedrooms accommodated 5 adults comfortably. We were 15 min away from Newport which was very convenient. Our host, Doug, was very attentive and provided detailed info of the area I highly recommend this place.

Great Stay

We went too the Hall of Fame Open tennis tournament, very good location being roughly 20-30 minutes away from the hall of fame. we had 4 people and everyone got their own room and the house could have easily fit more people. very good quiet neighborhood.

Great house in lovely neighborhood

I stayed with a group of friends in the home for a weekend and we had an excellent time. The house was clean and we'll equipped with everything we needed, including a grill. The living room was spacious enough for our group, and the four bedrooms were comfortable (two upstairs, and two downstairs with another living area attached). Communication with Doug was a breeze. Would definitely stay again!

What a great vacation! Scheduling, check in and communicating with the host - were all super easy. The TV’s & cellphone chargers in each room were very accommodating. Central air worked well, two showers definitely helped out our family. The living has a home-ish feeling with the blankets and many comfy pillows. The washer and dryer were helpful especially with our little kids. The bedrooms on the lower level were well insulated for privacy. The close beach on the river was a great place for the little kids. We did go to some local beaches which were only like 10 minutes away so the location was ideal. The neighborhood was quiet. Some people took their dogs for a walk. The neighborhood vibe is tranquil. So all in all 10/10! We will definitely visit again!

Lovely Stay

House was very clean. The owners left snacks, extra beach towels to use and beach bags. The beds were all made so we didn't need to bring bed linens or bath towels. We had an issue with the toilet. The owner handled it promptly. Location was great. Would definitely stay again.

Cute and comfortable home in quiet location

Nice rental but needs some improvements to accommodate 8 guests. For example, there are only 5 chairs for the kitchen/dining table and fewer than 6 forks. Except for some dishes put away dirty and a bed that was unmade, the home was clean. Appreciate the beach towels and gas grill—should include these amenities in the listing. Could use some instructions for the TV and air conditioning. The host was very responsive.

Had a great girls trip with friends visiting Narraganset and Newport, stayed here 2 nights. TP was getting low and Doug had some delivered within 30 min so that was helpful. There were enough seats for 7 people at the dining table. We didn’t realize there was a fire pit, would be fun to try next time. Had paid for a fire pit table reservation at noon street market food hall and that was fun. The Narraganset town beach was honestly a little disappointing as it was a short sandy area and water cold (late Aug). Had a nice day in Newport along Thames street and the 40 steps cliff walk. Didn’t go in the mansions as we’ve seen them before and 25 for an hourish is eh. It was nice to have 4 bedrooms so some girls could have their own room. We didn’t swim at the nearby river, but did check it out at night and it was cool to see the stars (don’t get to see them outside NYC due to light pollution). Would def recommend this place! Had enough parking for 4 cars, including a Toyota Corolla sedan and 3 crossover type cars (Subaru). We brought some of our own food to do brunch at the house then had snacks while we got ready for dinner. The temp was colder downstairs for the basement rooms and it took us a while to tinker with the AC, turned it off at one point but then it got humid so had to turn it on. Bring layers for bedtime.

Everything was great

The owner was very kind and quickly responded to questions. In addition, he provided several nice extras-an area guidebook with local attractions/information, snacks waiting on arrival, a beach bag packed with beach towels and household supplies most other rentals don't offer. The property was clean and the neighborhood safe and friendly. This was a fabulous find!

Better than expected!

The location was great- close to beaches, restaurants, Newport, Jamestown- anywhere you'd want to go. House was extremely clean and well appointed. Great for families as there is space to spread out with 2 beds/living room on one floor and 2 beds/den on another. Would love to go back!

Great location!

The house was perfect for a girls getaway; close to beaches and other local attractions. While it wasn't an issue during our stay, the air conditioning (3 window units on upper level; none on lower level, where 2 bedrooms are located) may not be sufficient for excessively hot and humid weather. Thanks for a great spot to land in Narragansett!

Nice home, close to beach

This is a very cute home, with gorgeous hardwood flooring. There were two main bedrooms upstairs and two additional bedrooms downstairs which provided a lot of extra space. The towels and linens all seemed brand new. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed during our stay. The host is extremely attentive throughout booking and during your stay. We had an issue after a huge storm and the host responded very quickly to remedy the situation.
