111 Waldburg street Beautifully Renovated Historic 5 bedroom 5 bath

This is a large stand-alone home! It`s a 5 bedroom, 7 beds plus a double sofa bed pull out, and 5 bathroom beauty with multiple sprawling porches and a balcony with views of Forsyth Park. Also, 3 out of 5 of our bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The house is recently fully renovated and features an open living area with a kitchen that is fully stocked. This beautiful place, that is right on the shuttle route, will be your perfect home away from home in historic downtown Savannah.

The house is large and right off of Forsyth Park. The living space has a sectional couch, with an open floor plan. The kitchen is fully stocked.

All bookings are subjected to a 13% Savannah motel and sales tax which will be included in the price per night.


Property includes:

1) We provide a single parking spot in the back of the home. There is free street parking in front of the house.
2) High Chair

4) Toys for kids
5) Board games
6) Umbrellas
7) Bikes with locks
8) Sheets, towels, and washcloths
9) Barbeque

We aren`t on the property, but we are always available if needed.

Forsyth Park is right around the corner. There are amazing restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores very close by.

The house is right on the route of the free shuttle.
We have a few very basic house rules:

1) We do not allow parties on our property. Please do not confuse this with a bachelorette or bachelor party. We welcome any group that will respect the property. If a guest breaks this rule we will evict them immediately without a refund.
2) Please do not move around the furniture.
3) We are not perfect but really try to maintain our properties to provide an excellent experience for our guests. If you notice anything we would appreciate letting us know. We want to ensure you leave us a great review!

Everything about our stay was absolutely amazing! The location was 1 house away from Forsyth Park and walking distance from the many parks, historic homes, and awesome dining options.The property was as advertised with all spaces being well appointed, clean, and convenient to each other. We had 2 families with children with 2 sets of grandparents and still had more than enough space to accommodate all (and we held an incredible Thanksgiving dinner there for all)!!The hosts were great and communicated often and at all key junctures. We had a chance to meet them when we arrived and they were very gracious. Check-on and check-out were as easy as you could ask for, and we did not have a single issue the entire time of our stay.We would absolutely consider this property for a future stay in Savannah, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for lodging.

The home was very nice, it had everything we needed and then some! The kitchen was well stocked with the right tools. The bathrooms were plentiful. There was enough space/ hot water for 8 ladies to get ready at the same time, which is definitely saying something!! The living room was a great communal space. We were able to log into the streaming services to watch a movie on one rainy afternoon.The location of the home was pretty central to interesting things, particularly Forsyth Park!There was a broken window that was covered with cardboard- which was a little strange. The toilet paper roll holders fell off every time they were used, maybe they were not correctly installed?I gave the checkin process a low rating because the home was not ready at 4 for check in, the management was still in to process of cleaning until about 4:30.

It was fine. Small details that every landlord should pay attention to, but without living there…just messy. Poorly painted, poorly hung pictures and hardware. But most concerning were the 5 gentlemen entering the home unannounced early in the morning, scaring everyone. A couple with code entering from the front and a few more thru the back door. Not right. And not right that I had to try and explain to them the situation when they should’ve contacted the owner.

Beautiful and a great location

The house was better than the summary. We thoroughly enjoyed all the bathrooms. Different set up of the house. 4 bedrooms and bathrooms are the entire 1st floor. The living room dining room and kitchen and main bedroom occupy the upstairs. Lots and lots of beautiful stairs. My husband and I were able to chill on our private balcony as the adult children chilled on theirs. Parking was good as we rented a suburban. The block was filled with the same immaculate beautiful homes. This house is conveniently located to all the happenings in this charming town. We were here for a wedding. The wedding was 5 mins driving. A very Quaint peaceful walking town. Shrimp factory great service better food. We were a super large party with other family members and everyone had something so good. Downtown is a good vibe food music drinks trinkets. We enjoyed the freedom tour will be back for the gullah geechie tour. Can't say enough how beautiful our 3 day experience has been

Enjoyable family getaway at this lovely home! This was our annual family getaway for us to connect with our adult children and their significant others. The home is close to the free shuttle, a trolley stop if you choose that option, and beautiful Forsyth Park.

Great location

Perfect spot right across from Forsyth Park. Can walk from here to most of the other small parks and restaurants.March perfect weather and azaleas in bloom everywhere. Lots of bathrooms and beds for a family of 7. Clean. Lots of stairs though with master and kitchen upstairs. Front porch nice for coffee or cocktails. Rear porch and furniture needs update. Overall, good place for few days in Savannah.

Savannah stay at Forsyth Park

As an owner of vacation rentals and a business traveler, I feel I can give an honest and fair review of the property.First and foremost guest must realizes this is a historic type home which has been renovated but has a lot of the features of an older historic property like uneven floors, old wood windows and so forth. But overall it's a cool old home with character.Arrived Friday February 7 at 5pm to the home and it was 80 degrees outside and when we walked in the house the a/c was not turned on and it was unbearable. I would have thought the property manager would have turned on the a/c knowing they had guest arriving at 5pm for the weekend. Positives:a. Location steps to Forsyth Park and restaurantsb. Nice family roomc. Decent appointed kitchen with pretty much anything you need to cook a meald. 3 bedrooms are onsuitee. Property manager took care of a challenge with TV remote in promptlyAreas for improvement: a. master bedroom on second level has a bed that has a completely worn out mattress that offers no supportb. Bed linens need to be upgraded as the rooms have a hodgepodge of comforters and bedspreads that are low quality and oldc. bath towels are paper thin and short in supplyd. It list 5 bedrooms but really two of the rooms have day beds not true bedse. Need to have a portable a/c unit in master bedroom like the other bedrooms as central a/c unit does very little to cool the house down

Deceptive listing - property looked nothing like online pictures and description was inaccurate.

Property was filthy when we arrived: fake eye lash on floor of shower, hair stuck to bed sheets, dirt laundry in washing machine, dining table and kitchen counter dirty, stove top dirty, refrigerator smelled like old seafood (ruining our fresh produce), old coffee grounds in coffee maker, food residue in microwave and toaster oven, area rug littered with crumbs. House has NOT been "recently renovated", in fact it is in rather poor repair with peeling paint and rotting siding. Furniture is not as nice as what is shown in the pictures online. Only two beds can be accessed from both sides - so only 7 people can sleep without crawling over each other. No games present in the rental and only one book - "Georgia Appeals Reports - Volume 152, 1979-80". Wi-Fi was weak and spotty making it very difficult to watch anything on the Roku TV provided. Outside: 1 of 3 rockers on front porch was broken. Furniture on upstairs balcony had dirty cushions and the umbrella was upside down and laying askew against the house. Furniture on back porch was mildewed. Furniture in back yard was dirty and the paint was flaking off. Someone accessed the property while we were gone the first day of our stay and moved our personal items to make the beds and left new towels. Property host responded within 36 hours to cleanliness issue. Dreaded returning to this property each night. On the positive side: property location was good.

Perfect girls getaway

This property was great for a long weekend for five women. Two will have to share a bathroom, but everyone else will have their own. The location is fantastic!
