Loved everything about it
We loved everything about this property. It was clean. The small kitchen was stocked with everything, even though we only used the water kettle. There is even a washer and dryer, which was convenient on this rainy weekend. We found street parking right outside the lane and after 5pm on Friday it was free. You're only steps from Forsyth Park and minutes from downtown. I would definitely recommend!!

Heart of downtown Savannah
Perfect location for a stay in Savannah without a car. Very sweet and convenient spot with grocery store nearby for provisions. Property manager very helpful in trying to operate the TV and heater. Would happily stay here again.

Place is convenient to just about everything. Parking somewhat of a problem but we figured it out. Property owner was available and very nice. We hopefully will be returning soon and staying there again.

Quiet neighborhood, easy access to trolley
The bungalow(?) was clean and in a good area however, it definitely isn't as relaxing as I'm used to. It was charmingly rustic but a bit too rustic for my tastes. Since we spent a lot of our time walking around the city, we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. However, when we did, we couldn't really kick back and relax. There's a couch (not too comfortable) and a small chair. The bed was way too soft to sit on. It was also very dark in the room and not that essy to find. We walked around the block once trying to find it, not realizing it was a hidden door that we overlooked . Kudos for cleanliness and Savannah-charm, though. We felt very safe there.

Perfect spot to experience Savannah
Cute, cozy apartment, perfect for two. Large porch on 2nd floor overlooking a secluded courtyard. Easily found parking close by, and didn’t use the car once the entire stay. Perfect place if you’re looking to head out and experience/explore Savannah on foot. Would book again next time!

Very convenient location
My husband and I visited Savannah for our 35th anniversary. The location of the carriage house is very convenient to everything. We had an issue finding the location and had to call the property manager but other than that our stay was very enjoyable.

Nestled in The Nest
Absolutely loved the location in the historic district! Quaint and quiet street, adorable entry into the property, beautiful courtyard, perfect space for a couple looking for a quiet, relaxing place to enjoy Savannah! Lots of walking, parked our vehicle in a parking garage on Liberty St and didn't use it again till checkout. You won't be disappointed!

Cottage getaway
The cottage was clean and located in a safe neighborhood within waking distance to Forsyth Park and downtown. Since there's a private entrance to the garden, we felt comfortable leaving our luggage on the porch before and after check in and checkout.

Perfect for a weekend getaway
Had a wonderful stay at the Nest. It was the perfect space for two people. Everything you needed and quite efficient. The bed was surprisingly super comfortable and we heard close to zero street noise the whole weekend. Everything we wanted to walk to was within 10-20 minutes away too! You aren’t far from Jones Street and Forsyth. We found street parking about a block away that’s free on weekends. For those who can’t walk up stairs, this location may not be for them but we absolutely loved it!

Very convenient and walkable, centrally located for downtown Savannah. Parking can be a challenge, but we were fortunate to be able to find free parking within one block. It was a bit difficult initially locating the entrance to the property, but it added to the charm. Unexpected bonuses were the washer/dryer and well equipped kitchen with updated refrigerator.

Wonderful time at the Nest
Property manager was super helpful. Great little place and location. If I ever go back to Savannah, I would definitely stay here again! No issues finding parking in the area when we arrived. The construction next door wasn’t a problem for us since we were out the door before 8-9am.

Quaint getaway, walkable to downtown
Love the location of the VRBO! It’s so close to Forsyth park for some lovely walking around, and you’re a quick 15 min walk to downtown/the river street area! Perfect place for a couples getaway!

Location,location,location
Wonderful little apartment in an old carriage house. So close to Forsythe Park, and bus stops for the DOT free busses. There is construction next door, but they really didn't bother us at all. The color of the door paint is amazing, and I want it!

Cute little stay
The place was definitely a cute little loft. They had everything you needed and was in pretty close proximity to everything (10-20min walk or 5-10 min Uber). Perfect for 1-2 people. The positives were: -cleanliness -distance -amenities -price -comfortable bed The negatives: -the toilet seat was cracked and would pinch your leg when you sat down (sounds petty but it can be fixed easily so it was annoying they hadn’t) -the door to get into the garden was TINY and wobbly. -shower head definitely needed to be cleaned Overall, the positives are well above the negatives and would 1000% stay here again.

My friend and I have done the NOGS tour for several years. This little place was perfect for walking to all the hidden gardens. We would definitely stay here again.

Almost perfect!
I wish I could give 4.5 stars. Location was perfect, directions were good, rental was small but had everything I needed. Bed was comfortable, fast wifi, a few necessities in the kitchen and bathroom. Heating and cooling directions were clear, and curtains were heavy enough to block the street lights. Unfortunately, the construction noise right next door was noticeable (Friday only), and the tarping used at the construction site flapped in the wind making it sound almost like there was a very heavy rainstorm outside/pelting the walls whenever I was in the rental. The construction dust also covered the porch furniture and it would have needed a really good wipe down before being useable. I’d recommend a white noise machine or low volume radio for sleep, or to just get out and see the city since you’re so close to everything! That said, I would stay again… I’m not a light sleeper and once I was asleep I stayed asleep.

Comfy and Cozy
My husband and I recently spent a lovely weekend in Savannah. Entering through The Nest’s entrance is like walking into a secret garden. This charming carriage house has a great location and we were able to park our car and walk to experience what this city has to offer. The property is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a great stay. The host was fabulous and responded immediately when we needed to contact her. We would definitely choose The Nest when we return to Savannah.

Just what we were looking for!
We enjoyed our stay at The Nest. The acccomodations were just as advertised. Communications with our host were friendly and helpful. The location was convenient for our walks around the historic district and down to the riverfront. The area was quiet at night for peaceful sleeping. We will definitely recommend to friends!

Accommodation was essentially a studio apartment. It was nicely outfitted for a short stay to visit Savannah. Suitably equipped for simple meals. Not set up for remote working…just a coffee table. We felt the property was clean. We had a small issue with the electronic door lock but the host immediately responded when we attempted to contact her. Only negative was the amount of light from the street lights outside despite drapes with the addition of blinds at each window (nice to have a well-lit alley). Parking was on the street so you need to be aware of the rules. Forsyth Park was just around the corner and the river was about 1.5 miles. Great location if you want to explore the park and to wander through the small green park squares along the way to the river. Would we stay again? Certainly!

Wonderful location.
We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is small, but comfortable, just right for two. It is located approximately 1-2 blocks from Forsyth park. Easy walk to everything. Jackie is a wonderful host and even spent a small portion of her New Year’s Eve getting our TV on track. Thank you Jackie, it was so nice to meet you. I would definitely recommend your place.

Cozy and great location
The place was exactly as described. Cute, cozy, clean amd the host was lovely. Parking is a bit tough as it's street parking and most of the streets are by permit metered. Location was awesome and only a 5 min walk from the famous Mrs. Wilkes! Would definitely stay at this property again :-)

The property is great. We came to see the Veterans Day parade and it was right there. It is a little further out than we normally stay, but not too far. Love having someplace to sit outside for coffee or wine.

Sweet Little Nest

Wonderful experience.
My wife and I rented this carriage house in Savannah to celebrate our anniversary. It is perfect for a couple to stay for a getaway. It gets very high ratings and reviews for a reason - because it is a wonderful place for a couple to stay. The location is great - a block from Forsyth Park. The carriage house is very charming and oozing character. We didn't need anything from the host, but when we did message her about our arrival or a question about what to do when checking out - she immediatly responded. Will absolutely stay here again. Greatful that my wife found it.

Perfect location
The apartment was so convenient being right next to Forsyth park, multiple parks, and bus/trolley stops. It was even easy to walk to the river if you have the energy. The space was perfect for a 2 person getaway and the patio was gorgeous with beautiful plants growing everywhere.

We enjoyed our weekend stay at the Nest. It was clean and comfortable. Everything you could need was there for us. We did have an issue with the TV remote. The Firestick batteries were dead. We bought some the second day and we were good to go. We did leave two more in the top drawer under the TV should this happen to anyone else. We also had an early Saturday morning wake up from construction being done outside the window, but that just got us up and on the way to Tybee earlier than expected. The did not work on Sunday! Yay! Either way, we had a great stay!

Perfect location! This carriage house stay is less than one block from Forsyth Park and near many historical attractions. The apartment area is quaint but clean and has everything you need for a comfortable stay - the beautiful garden area and porch are a bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Adorable Place + Great Location!
We absolutely loved our stay at The Nest and will definitely be back! The location is perfect - short walk to wherever in Savannah you're looking to explore. The alley entrance provided us with privacy to come and go. The street was quiet. The courtyard area outside the space was beautiful and filled with all sorts of fun plants. The space had everything you needed to cook at home and felt cozy and calm. Bed was soft and comfy! Definitely recommend!
