Mid-Century Guest House su circa 3 ettari di proprietà sul fiume con un molo barca in barca in acque profonde.

La "Boathouse" nella sua interezza è stata riabilitata nel 2012 con splendidi appuntamenti di alto livello in tutto il mondo, vantando una camera matrimoniale deluxe con bagno interno al piano superiore; soggiorno, cucina moderna e bagno di servizio al piano di sotto. Le aree esterne includono la terrazza al piano superiore e il patio al piano inferiore, coperto e scoperto.

Trascorri il tuo tempo mentre visiti questa splendida proprietà facendo una passeggiata sul terreno, camminando fino al molo condiviso per osservare gli uccelli marini e la fauna selvatica o rilassandoti sulla terrazza al piano superiore guardando il tramonto attraverso le maestose querce. È veramente magico!

Even better than advertised! This is a beautiful home with every accommodation you’d need for a relaxing stay. Jazz was playing on the big screen as we entered and all the lights were on to welcome us. The downstairs a/c unit kept us cool as it was in the 80’s outside. The 1/2 bath off the kitchen was perfectly placed. Special touches were everywhere.We ate every meal out (highly recommended a local favorite, The Flying Fish, for live music and great food!) but we could have cooked in the gourmet kitchen with a full gas range and frig, and anything needed to prep a special meal. Wine glasses, coffee maker, filtered water, a few snacks, sparking water, creamer, spices, and sugar were provided.The ensuite, with a very comfy king poster bed, luxurious linens, sitting area with tv, upstairs a/c and ceiling fan with a gorgeous bathroom, and second porch were beyond expectations.Unlike the last beautiful BNB we reviewed on Whitemarsh Island where you are right on a deep water dock, you will need to pack your own beach bag, towels, bug spray, and sunscreen before trekking around the lovely grounds, through the owners driveway and gorgeous long yard to reach the deck. We enjoyed sunset and sunrise everyday with gorgeous views, wildlife, and several pelicans diving for fish right in front of us.A relaxing, quiet, upscale place to stay for a long getaway or work trip. Stay more than one night to really enjoy!

We found the boathouse a perfect place to get away for a few days to relax and enjoy the Savannah area. We highly recommend the Bread and Butter restaurant, a short distance away. The owners of the Boathouse provided for all of our needs, and the place was very clean. Highly recommend!

Relaxing retreat in a beautiful setting! We didn’t do a lot of cooking (too many fun eateries to try) but always made breakfast (wonderful supply of spices available:). Bedroom suite so charming with a balcony deck to listen to the birds in the morning and enjoy a coffee. So many beautiful decorations added to the charm

The location was perfect for visiting Savannah. It is well kept and the decor and theme made for an enjoyable stay. It was very private and felt like a home away from home. We had such a wonderful weekend stay! The location was perfect—very walkable, and we easily covered about 3 miles each day. The dock was easy to find, and we even took a picnic down to enjoy the water (bonus: we saw dolphins playing!). Just a tip—watch for the tide coming back in; we ended up wading through about 4 inches of water to get back to the backyard, which honestly just added to the adventure.Inside, the home was super comfortable and thoughtfully set up. There were tons of outlets, which made charging everything a breeze, and I really appreciated all the hooks in the bathroom—such a simple touch that made unpacking and organizing so easy.If you’re interested in biking or kayaking, definitely ask about availability when you book so you can plan ahead. The hosts were excellent communicators and so helpful—we truly felt like we were staying at a friend’s home.During our trip, we did a ghost tour, caught an NFL game with other fans at the Savannah Taproom, and enjoyed dinner at AJ’s on Tybee, where the sunset views were incredible.An absolute joy of a weekend—we can’t wait to return!

Brian and Patsi have created the perfect place to stay, nice and comfortable, with attention to detail. The Boathouse is just an awesome place to kick back and relax. Everything seemed to be well thought out and the decorative touches were beautiful. The location is perfect as well - just a short drive to Savannah and Tybee Island. Dreamy location! Peaceful retreat along the inner coastal, sitting on the back dock we saw beautiful wildlife, even a dolphin! Downtown is a short drive away for night life or for beach vibes head to Tybee Island. Gracious and easy to communicate with hosts. This was our 2nd trip to the Boathouse, highly recommend it!

A magical Boathouse at the marsh

Brian and Patsi have an absolute treasure on their beautiful estate property overlooking the marsh. From the initial communication, they were very detailed and friendly.Upon arrival, we immediately knew we'd chosen a gem of a private getaway to wrap up our much needed week long vacation.The boathouse was so charming and inviting as soon we opened the front door. The soft music and warm ambient lighting throughout the house was a beautiful touch. Everything that we could possibly need was there! The upstairs didn't disappoint with a extremely comfortable king sized bed and oversized shower. Let's not forget the upstairs deck that overlooks the numerous water oaks on the lush property with Spanish moss. Everything was clean The craftsmanship of the boathouse is spectacular and the lovely plantings surrounding the property are abundant.Their private dock overlooking the serene marshes at Oakland Island was very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting Brian and Patsi and getting to know a little bit about their beautiful property. They left us alone while we were there and didn't make us feel like we were intruding being there. They made us feel very welcome and wanted us to relax and enjoy our stay. We also loved meeting Jasper (the outdoor black tuxedo cat), who greeted us and even sent us off for our early departure.We can't wait to come back... And spend a little more time here! This perfect location between downtown Savannah and Tybee Island shouldn't be overlooked.

Boat House

This property is so beautiful. The boat house is super cute and the decor was very well done. Brian and Patsi have thought of everything that you may need to have a very relaxing trip. It is just a short stroll down to the dock where there are 2 kayaks and beautiful views. Would recommend this to all that are looking for a relaxing getaway.
