Cozy Modern Apartment w/ Patio Off - Dog-Friendly!

Summary:

Tastefully modern garden-level apartment right off of the beautiful, historic Jones Street. The owner of this unit is a famous Emmy winning Director, who just recently had the whole place remodeled. It is very clean, modern and tastefully decorated. We are right in the heart of the Historic District with some of the most iconic restaurants and shops just a stone's throw away. We offer free WiFi, a Smart TV, washer/dryer and plenty of lounge space for a perfect, relaxing getaway!

The Space:

We offer a very spacious living/dining area with plenty of seating. We have a generously sized kitchen that is fully equipped with all standard-sized appliances for those who like to cook. Includes a drip coffee maker for your use and we stock coffee and fixings to go with it. The queen bedroom has a dresser and a walk-in closet for those who like to pack a bit on the heavier side! The bathroom has a walk-in glass shower with modern tile. If you need to do laundry while you are here, there is a washer/dryer in the closet for your use :)



Guest Access:

You may use anything in the apartment that suits your fancy :) as we stated above, we have a free washer/dryer for your use in the closet by the bathroom.

The Neighborhood:

Our place is on the coveted Jones Street right in the heart of the Historic District in Downtown Savannah. We have a very safe neighborhood where many of the folks live permanently. It is tucked away just enough from the tourist areas so that it is quiet at night, but just a quick walk to the action. Truly family-oriented! We are just under a mile away from City Market/River Street/Bay Street.



Getting Around:

There is a FREE shuttle that picks up just one block down Jones at the corner of Drayton/Charlton Ln. This will take you up and down the Historic District and can drop you off at City Market. Otherwise we recommend using Uber/Lyft as parking around town can be pretty chaotic and is usually less than $5 to get anywhere.



Other Things to Note:

There are residents that live above, next door, in front, etc. (many of whom live permanently) so we just ask that you are respectful and courteous to your neighbors.



Interaction with Guests:

We are available to guests via mobile Monday-Friday 9am-9pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am-8pm. We don't live far so if you should need anything or have any issues, just let us know.

The residence was AMAZING!! It was clean when I arrived. Easy to access the keys. Parking was literally right on the street where the door was. It was a beautifully quiet street and surrounding area. I came to celebrate my birthday and had a FABULOUS time. Everything was easy to get to and I was able to get in my walking steps. I’ll absolutely be back again.

The apartment was super clean and great communication with owners making check in and check out stress free. It is central to everything in historic Savannah, while also being on a quieter street. There is also a free bus that is only a quick one block walk . We had a wonderful time. Thank you so much.

Cute apartment at an amazing walkable location!

The place is located in the historic district and at a walkable distance from most of the interesting spots/squares/cafes around the city. It is right at the intersection of Jones street, which is deemed to be the prettiest street in Savannah. Parking was not an issue, we found a spot right in front of the apartment. Paying for parking through the app was convenient.Just a note: Thursdays, early morning, is street sweeping, so you need to move your car (the sign on the street can be easily missed).Place was clean, well equipped. The mattress in the bedroom was comfortable enough for 2 people. Plenty of dresser and closet space. The host had also provided disposable earplugs which I ended up using since I am a light sleeper.Kitchen had a Keurig machine with plenty of coffee pods/creamer/sugar provided. Washer and dryer came in quite handy as well (detergent pods provided by the host)In my opinion, the place is comfortable enough for up to 2 people. Overall, had a great stay and would definitely book this place for future visits.

Overall the stay was very good. Pay attention to parking signs or it will cost you. The neighborhood is great. The place was clean and mostly quiet. The upstairs people walked heavily and their floors squeeked. Luckily, they weren't aactive active later in the day.

Excellent location!

The property was in a perfect location in downtown Savannah. A booklet was left that had great info for local places to eat, we took a look at it every night. Wonderful amenities. I appreciated being able to wash my clothes at the end of my trip and I loved that they had beach towels available for our day trip to Tybee Island. Just be aware that the pull out couch is quite uncomfortable and this property is better suited for a couple or 2 people willing to share the main bed. Brandon and Chase were excellent hosts and communicated well.

This property is in an awesome location. Walking distance to some great restaurants and parks. Quiet neighborhood in historic district. This quaint apartment had everything we needed with a beautifully updated kitchen and bath. Property owners great to work with and communication was great. A must stay location.

The property was very clean. Easy to communicate with the host. Property was close to many attractions to walk to. Parking was good. You do have to pay for parking on weekdays. Pay attention to sign that tells you when you need to move your car for street cleaning. You will get fined if you dont. Comfortable bed. Only con was the couch was a bit uncomfortable to sit in.

Great location

Apartment was really clean and exactly as you see in pictures ,the only thing outside patio chairs did not have the cushions so we sat on the bare teak chairs out side to enjoy some sun. Will definitely stay here again

So the positives were that the neighborhood was terrific, parking is free over the weekend, the bed was comfortable. however this is a pretty souless. the couch was very uncomfortable. When we got there there were dead cockroaches all over (like 20). The owner did come over and get rid of them while we were at dinner (after trying to move us for the night somewhere else and asking to wait a day for when his cleaners were available) but it was pretty disconcerting when we got there. I would have thought they knew when they had it sprayed and schedule a cleaning. Overall we would not be back.

Southern Charm

We spent a lovely few days enjoying the many interesting and beautiful sights in Savannah. The apartment was perfect- comfortable, clean with all we needed. It was in a nice neighborhood with walkable restaurants and easy parking. Hope we can return someday.

We lived near downtown and loved the location. There were three park squares within walking distance from our apartment. Parking was not an issue in that there were plenty of available street parking spaces. We loved our apartment; it was clean, well stocked and convenient for our week stay.

Location, location, location

Perfect location to walk to all things important in Savannah. Sandwiched between two Squares and just a few steps from historic Jones Street. Quiet area with plenty of parking. Use the Park savannah app - very convenient. There is a wonderful restaurant, FraLi Gourment a few blocks away which serves the freshest pasta you will ever taste. Great coffee cafe as well with a wonderful assortment of baked goods, sandwiches and quiche. The unit itself is comfortable although somewhat dark. Didn't spend much time in it so it was not a deterrent.

The property is located just off of beautiful Jones St, which provides walking access to beautiful architecture, landscaping, and historical sites. The apartment is modest with most of what you'll need for a short stay. I did find a couple issues with cleanliness- the floors and carpets were quite dirty, and the dryer vent duct was clogged, but I believe that will be remedied soon. Overall, it's nice and quiet and a good pick for your stay in historic downtown.
