Stay Local in Savannah: The Perfect Family Casa per le vacanze, cortile privato

Sentiti come un vero indiano di Savannah quando ti avvicini a questa casa di clapboard. Il foyer con la scala principale ti saluta mentre vaghi per tutto il primo piano. Una prima camera per gli ospiti con letto King si trova alla tua sinistra, perfetta come una suocera o una suite per teenager. Goditi un bicchiere di vino prima di andare a cena nella sala del salotto, aperta nella sala da pranzo che può ospitare sei persone.

La cucina è l'ideale per intrattenere, in quanto è completamente attrezzata con ogni esigenza culinaria ed è aperta sia al soggiorno che alla sala da pranzo. Calcia i piedi e guarda la partita in salotto, piena di luce diurna dall'esterno. Una porta al cortile privato è perfetta ed è il luogo ideale per barbecue e godersi i suoni della città.

Al piano superiore troverete le restanti due camere da letto, una come il maestro e l'altra una camera per gli ospiti con bagno privato. Il maestro ha un letto king size, due armadi pieni e accesso al balcone al largo della vasca. Goditi l'ammollo nella vasca idromassaggio dopo una lunga giornata di esplorazione della città. Un televisore a schermo piatto può essere trovato nell'armadio.

La camera degli ospiti è di fronte alla master suite e ha anche un letto king size e TV a schermo piatto. Il bagno ha una vasca / doccia combo e una splendida vista del centro storico.

Great location! Convenient to all the historic parts of Savannah. Spacious rooms and home. Had some issues with the tv. Pillows on all the beds were quite small for king sized beds and very hard. Would have been nice to know that there was a parade on Saturday and the street was used for staging floats & cars for the parade, made it a little difficult getting out on Saturday morning. Overall, we would stay here again as the location was great!

The place was great however there weren't enough towels. There were six adults and we had to wash towels and washcloth for a 4 night stay. The place was clean overall but could use a deep clean on baseboards, stove etc. overall we would def stay again

Lovely, comfortable house. We enjoyed being able to cook breakfast in the nice kitchen before heading out for the day. Easy walkable location to downtown Savannah and an easy drive to Tybee Island.

My family's stay was very nice. The location of this property is perfect for access to downtown Savannah. The house was a great size for the extended family and babies. Comfortable

The house known as Charming Charlton was comfortable for our stay with plenty of space for the four adults on this weekend trip to Savannah.The microwave wasn’t working, the couch cushions are torn and the condition of the home was well-worn (needs new paint throughout and a deep cleaning - chairs, floors, showers). The house was well suited for our needs, though, and we enjoyed all Savannah had to offer from this central location.

Disappointing rental

Location of property was great- easy walk to Riverside. Communication was great with the property manager. They were very responsive and helped me with any questions I had. We liked that the house had 3 bedrooms with 3 king beds. The house had enough plates, cups, and utensils. Some things were very disappointing that seem so easy to make better. Quality of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, and trash bag were terrible. Only supplied us with 1 trash bag and 1 paper towel. We were a group of 6 that stayed for 3 nights. Pillows were so hard and ice machine did not produce ice. There was a clump of hair in 1 shower and a clogged drain in another. The ponds in the backyard did not work and made it smell bad so it was not a spot you could hang out. Overall it was pretty disappointing for the price point.

Weekend in Savannah

The house was beautiful and spotless and the location is wonderful. However, it would have been 5 star if there had been even one tea bag in the kitchen. There was enough ground coffee for 2 small pots of coffee and NOTHING else - no sugar, creamers, condiments, tea bags etc. Also, the TV in the living room was not connected to the internet and there was a flickering bulb in the first floor bedroom.

Birthday Getaway

We loved the location. It was on the edge of the historic district and it was easy to get to where we wanted to go on foot. We liked that there were 3 king beds and three bathrooms for our party of 3 couples (though one of the bedrooms does not have a bathroom directly attached to it downstairs). The check in and check out process was really easy. The community areas (living room and tv room) were pretty small and the furniture did not accommodate 6 adults at a time, so it was a bit uncomfortable to sit and visit or watch tv all together. The walls could use some cleaning and the fridge ice dispenser and the backyard pond are still not working. Parking was a little tricky with the street sweeper and one side being paid parking, so be aware of the signs on the street. We had a great time and this was a nice place to come home to at night.

Great location-Run down property

Home was in a great location. Property was very run down, dirty, cob webs, backyard was not usable, deck was dangerous with broken rails, 3rd bath was not attached to 3rd bedroom, basic cable was slim to none, no cleaning supplies or paper products available, & some furniture pieces were broken. The home needs updates.

Lovely home

This is a lovely refurbished home. However we were all in our 70s and maybe a clear description of stairwell might be good. It was a little steep and narrow. Also in numerous reviews the past several years guests mentioned broken ice maker in fridge. We wrongly assumed it would “surely” be repaired. A fridge ice maker is certainly a necessity in Savannah and we had to drag in 4 bags of ice over the week.

Very nice home

This property was a very nice, clean house, true to the pictures. It is located in the historical district which was very convenient to all sights. We enjoyed City Market, Prohibition Museum, Ghost Tour and just walking around. Food was excellent in the restaurants we went to... Thank you again for your lovely home...

Short vacation

House was very clean and true to description. If you like very firm mattresses and pillows then this house is perfect for you. Each night we could easily find parking by house. It was a ~8 min walk to nearby cafes and shopping. Liked having three rooms king size beds and with their own bathrooms.

Nice stay

It was a great property! I only have a few things that I would suggest that you supply coffee. We only had enough for one pot. The other thing that was a problem is there were plenty of towels but no wash cloths. We enjoyed our stay but just these few suggestions.

Great location, nice property

Very comfortable for 6. Beautiful home, would definitely stay again. So convenient to downtown Savannah and Forsyth Park. Easy walking distance to everything. A Kroger is nearby for any food or personal needs. One suggestion: better maintenance of backyard and property would be perfect.

Perfect Friends Getaway

We had a wonderful stay at Charming Charlton. The property was just as shown. Spacious and very comfortable. We had everything we needed. It was within walking distance of all of the highlights of Savannah and the neighborhood felt very safe. We will definitely stay again next time we go to Savannah.
