Appartamento al livello del giardino completamente rinnovato in una residenza storica del 1854 direttamente sull'incantevole Chatham Square, posizione privilegiata a solo un isolato da Forsyth Park. L'area contiene alcune delle migliori case a schiera della città. È a pochi passi da una varietà di musei e siti storici, nonché da ristoranti, negozi di alimentari e negozi.

Il soggiorno dispone di smart tv a schermo piatto con cavo Xfinity e Wi-Fi e divano letto. La sala da pranzo può ospitare quattro persone. La cucina dispone di elettrodomestici in acciaio inossidabile e ripiani in granito. Lavatrice / asciugatrice situata nell'unità. Camera da letto principale con letto matrimoniale e bagno privato con ampia doccia. La struttura gode di un cortile in comune con bella fontana. Prendi un po 'di formaggio e cracker e trascorri del tempo nell'incantevole cortile accanto alla fontana! Non accettiamo animali domestici.

Raccogli i pasti nella sala da pranzo e ammira i poster di Razzia Louis Vutton, nonché i pavimenti e le pareti in mattoni. Questa straordinaria residenza cittadina del 1854 mescola mobili senza tempo con ricchi motivi e accenti per un'atmosfera robusta con sentori di eclettismo.

Questa residenza fa parte dello storico GORDON ROW di Savannah. Gordon Row fu costruita in due fasi tra il 1852 e il 1854. Nella prima fase, sono state costruite le 3 o 4 case su ciascuna estremità del blocco e nella seconda fase è stata costruita la parte centrale. Ci sono un totale di 15 case nella fila.

Le case sono state costruite nel Federalist (Stati Uniti) o Regency Style (Regno Unito). Ogni casa è alta quattro piani e contiene circa 3.300 piedi quadrati. Lo stile federalista enfatizza le caratteristiche quadrate, classiche, le decorazioni semplici e le sale con specchi.

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. Before Hansford's death, as retold in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, the house had already been the scene of two deaths. In 1913, a previous owner tripped over the second floor banister, fractured his hip, and suffered a concussion, dying three days later. In 1964, a boy chasing pigeons on the roof fell over the edge and impaled himself on the iron fence below.

The unit is amazing! Take heed of parking advice, either you are slave to the meter app or get the visitor pass from the City. I recommend getting passes.Know that property management controls the thermostat and there isn't unlimited hot water. Not showstoppers, but do be aware. Also, occupancy is limited to 2 but there is an uncomfortable hideabed for a couch.

We were in town for a surprise 50th birthday celebration! We had a great time! Unfortunately, we only stayed at the property to sleep. However, we would definitely book again because, kitchen was fully equipped to prepare meals. Great unit & location!

We had a wonderful stay in Savannah! The home was exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect: close to historic sights, great restaurants, and charming squares, yet quiet enough to relax after a day of exploring.The space was beautifully maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the host was responsive and helpful throughout our stay.We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. We really enjoyed our stay. The space was exactly as described, very clean, and thoughtfully appointed with high-quality items throughout. The unit was well stocked with essentials such as soap, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a fully stocked coffee station. The many small, thoughtful touches were genuinely appreciated.Street parking was readily available directly in front of the unit for about 8–9 per day. Parking does require feeding the app every two hours between 8am and 5pm, but overall it was much more convenient than expected.The location is excellent. It is about a 20-minute walk to the river and just a few blocks from the free public bus, making it easy to get around.Two minor notes for future guests. The unit had only three hangers available, and while an ice maker was listed, it was actually a manual ice tray rather than an automatic ice maker. These were small items and did not significantly impact our stay, but they were different than expected.Overall, this is a beautiful, clean, and centrally located unit, which were major positives. We would happily stay here again.

Location was perfect for us. We were running the Savannah Southern half marathon that started in Forsyth Park and this home was two blocks away. Decor was gorgeous. Outside area was calm and peaceful. Bed was super comfortable and everything was SO clean. Very safe and communication with hosts was perfect! Would definitely stay here again and recommend. The ONLY small thing we kept saying was that we wish we could have adjusted the air to be cooler inside. It was a very warm weekend so sleeping was slightly warm, but it did not change the way we felt about this place. 10/10

Everything was as described and as reflected in the pictures. The property manager was a big help the couple of times i called her ... very responsive. The place was located in the heart of the historic district, just down the street from the Mercer/Williams house. We did not have a car and walked everywhere. We had an amazing time in an amazing place.

This property was in a nice quiet area. Chatham Square is literally out the front of the building. Lovely area to sit and take in the outdoors. Everything was within a 3-18 min, enjoyable, walk. The DOT is just around the corner. This is a first floor unit so no stairs to climb. It is an old building so don't expect perfect walls or floors but very clean. The shared patio is in the back off the bedroom. We never saw anyone using it. We didn't cook but it had all the basics. We did not rent a car and did not need one. I would not recommend renting one. Parking cost and hard to find in Savannah. I gave this a five star because it was a cute and clean little place and fit our need. We traveled in October. Pros: clean, good water and water pressure, large walk in shower, bed comfortable, no stairs, kitchen supplied, DOT close, right on Chatham Square, coffee shops close by, quiet area, easy to sightsee from this location, felt very safe. Host was good to communicate. Cons: need to be careful of height difference in floor from one room to the next, not great for kids, you can hear the people above you walking around or talking but not a major problem ( ear plugs were provided for sleeping). Don't expect to use the fireplace. Smelled a little musty when we first walked in but didnt notice it after the first day.

Our stay was great! The unit was very well decorated and had lots of space. We had no issues finding parking right out front and the weekends were free. I am a sing in the shower, laugh out loud type who does not mind noise. But if you are not that type be aware this is a downstairs unit. The occupants upstairs sounded like a marching band well through the night and early morning. Very disruptive! That’s would be the only complaint we had.

Great location!!

This garden suite is in the perfect location to walk around Savannah! It was very clean with new amenities. Parking was never an issue on the street right in front of the door. Highly recommend!!!
