La nostra casa a schiera Tattnall St. è una struttura a due camere da letto magnificamente restaurata che offre la combinazione perfetta di privacy, lusso tranquillo e facile accesso alla nostra bellissima città storica.

Al piano superiore due camere da letto, entrambe con letti king size e due bagni privati con ampio spazio armadio.

C'è un divano letto nel soggiorno.

Completa di cortile e parcheggio fuori strada, questa casa a schiera ben arredata farà sicuramente piacere in questo tranquillo quartiere nascosto nel centro storico. Alzati con il sole e fai jogging nel Forsyth Park con gli altri mattinieri o rilassati nel tuo cortile soleggiato con una tazza di caffè caldo. Passeggia lungo Tattnall St. fino a Chatham Square, circondato dalla storia e dal fascino del quartiere antebellum circostante. A breve distanza a piedi dal mercato cittadino e dal fiume St. e da tutti i punti di interesse del centro storico, nonché dal centro visitatori proprio di fronte a Martin Luther King Blvd. Prendi il traghetto per l'acqua fino al centro congressi sull'isola di Hutchinson o guida verso le spiagge dorate dell'isola di Tybee a soli quindici minuti di distanza.

  • Designed by John S. Norris for General Hugh Weedon Mercer, construction of the house began in 1860. Construction was interrupted by the American Civil War, and finally completed around 1868 by the new owner, John Wilder. Before Hansford's death, as retold in Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, the house had already been the scene of two deaths. In 1913, a previous owner tripped over the second floor banister, fractured his hip, and suffered a concussion, dying three days later. In 1964, a boy chasing pigeons on the roof fell over the edge and impaled himself on the iron fence below.

Great host, amazing location, and close to Forsyth Park! This VRBO is a treasure, wish I would have discovered it sooner. Perfect for any SCAD visit or a weekend in Savannah. Crystal Beer Parlor is a must do just a couple blocks away.

Great Weekend!

Wonderful place to stay

We could not have found a more perfect place to stay with another couple!! The home more than met our expectations and we loved the off street parking and outdoor patio! The communication was excellent and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great stay!

We enjoyed ourselves and felt very comfortable with the home. The home was supplied with everything you need. We liked having outdoor space in the fenced in yard. We were within walking distance to all major attractions. We recommend the shrimp and grits at Crystal Beer Parlor which is 3 blocks away.

Great location- 20 minute max walk to everything. Property well equipped, including a washer and dryer. Only nit pick was the pillows. Time for replacement- they’re getting quite flat.

Great Central location near historic district

We had a very enjoyable stay in Savannah near Forsyth Park. Perfect for 3 adults. Quiet and well stocked kitchen for all we needed. I will recommend this property to friends who are seeking a great location at a reasonable rate. Thank you for making our stay seamless. Several good restaurants within 1/2 mile walking distance! Historic Savannah

The property is beautifully decorated and very clean. There's plenty of space to spread out and have some personal space. The kitchen has everything you need should you wish to cook! The decoration is sympathetic to the age and quaintness of the cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed staying at the house and Savannah is fabulous with a wonderful vibe.

Perfect location!

Excellent location and has everything needed to enjoy a comfortable stay. Townhome is exactly as pictured. Walkable to really anywhere depending on your activity level but just 2 blocks away from Forsyth Park, tour/trolley pickups, shopping, eating. Beautiful area! We had a great stay, would recommend and would def stay again.

Fabulous Christmas Stay

We (me, husband, and college age daughter) spent a lovely long stay here 12/21 - 12/24. The house is lovely and well appointed. Comfy beds, both with ensuite, a cozy living room, amazingly well stocked kitchen and comfy dining and family room area. The location is great - quick walk to a great coffee shop and to Forsyth Park (fyi, walking the full perimeter is 1 mile, so perfect for daily walks!). Easy walk into the shops and restaurants in the Historic District.The neighborhood is also in the historic district and lots of quaint character, and we found it to be quiet. Having deducted off street parking was much appreciated.The kitchen - tiny but mighty! We’ve never stayed at a VRBO so well appointed! You can cook anything here. My husband was so excited to get to try out an Instapot :). This was easily the most comfortable stay we’ve had - Paris, London, Reykjavik, San Juan, New Orleans … this was really the best Christmas stay. Our Host Kim was very communicative, welcoming and responsive. Book it. You’ll be glad you did!

Milestone Birthday Staycation

As vacationers who became locals, we had stayed at this wonderful townhome before & knew it was the perfect place to celebrate birthdays! Having 2 bedrooms both with King beds & on suites was awesome. The townhome was close enough to everything but far enough away from the hustle & bustle for a good nice sleep. Off street parking for 2 vehicles was great. Highly recommend this townhouse for anyone looking to stay in Savannah!!

Great Time Down South

The property was fine. We found it to be clean and an enjoyable place to stay. It seems VRBO suits us better when staying with friends and/or relatives, and the quaint style of this unit was nice. It does have some of the issues any older house might have, but nothing to really complain about. The location was good with respect to where all the activity is and having parking spaces allotted is a real plus in Savannah. We would stay there again..

Perfect Spot in Savannah

We had a great stay at this two bedroom townhouse near Forsyth Park. Has two parking spaces which was nice as we were able to park the car and then walk everywhere. Loved the location and the two master suites.

Perfect location

Our stay at this property was perfect. The location of the property was in walking distance to everything we wanted to visit. The home has two master suites. We only needed to use one and the bed was very comfortable. The furnishings were also nice. The kitchen, although small, had everything we needed to prepare meals as needed. We would definitely rebook this property when returning to Savannah.

Comfortable and Quiet

Such a comfortable, roomy place. 2 nice sized bedrooms and 2 baths upstairs. Really enjoyed staying here and seeing the sights in Savannah. Location is great! Forsyth Park is very close and easy to walk to. Quiet neighborhood. I would definitely stay here again!

Excellent location

We loved how convenient this place was to Savannah's lovely squares. Easy to get around and grocery store nearby. The place is nicely appointed and well stocked kitchen. Many of the niceties that make a stay even better. I would absolutely stay there again.

Cute place to stay

Loved the Town home. Very convenient to everywhere. We did have to move our car a few times to get to the River Front. But it was not that far. A younger person could walk it, no problem. Everything was very neat and clean. I am very picky about that. They did a great job.
