La Collezione Washington Square di Luxury Living Savannah si trova nella pittoresca Washington Square di Savannah, a 2 isolati da River Street! Questa piazza, intitolata a George Washington, si trova in Houston Street, vicino al sito del vecchio Trustees Garden.

Questa storica Washington Square House, situata tra il 1790 e il 1810, è una restaurazione storica "premiata". Dopo aver lasciato vacante dal 1992, ha miracolosamente conservato la stragrande maggioranza dei suoi dettagli originali! La scala originale, i pavimenti in legno di pino, tutte le porte e gli accessori, le finestre, le boiserie in perline, i caminetti e i mantelli, ecc. Ecc.

Il accurato restauro è stato condotto da rigide linee guida stabilite dal Dipartimento di risorse naturali a Washington D.C. Queste linee guida sono state seguite per salvare l'integrità storica della casa e il suo significativo contributo al Landmark Historic District di Savannah. Tutto questo e 2 isolati a River Street!

Nessuna spesa è stata risparmiata sul periodo di ammodernamento corretto di questa proprietà storica. La cucina gourmet completamente attrezzata con posti a sedere sull'isola per 3 persone si trova accanto alla sala da pranzo formale che può ospitare fino a 8 commensali. The Living Room ha una grande TV intelligente per l'intrattenimento di gruppo con arredi storici influenzati. La Sun Room informale regala la vista sul tranquillo cortile e sulla fontana per godersi cene all'aperto e rilassarsi. Le 4 camere da letto sono tutte dotate di bagni spaziosi e privati!

E a pochi passi di distanza si trovano inoltre 2 camere da letto e 2 bagni nella carrozza privata. La Carriage House è una casetta indipendente dietro la casa principale con un ingresso privato fuori dalla corsia. Si trova al 2 ° piano sopra il garage. Come tutte le carrozze a Savannah, la carrozza è il luogo in cui l'autista viveva nel 1800 sopra i cavalli e le carrozze che si prendevano cura di loro.

Perfect Ladies Birthday Weekend in Savannah

We could not have picked a better place for us! Six ladies, six bedrooms with their own bathrooms (four in the main house and two in the upper part of the garage)! In walking distance to everything, and this is seriously a walking town. Clean, comfortable, and a fantastic sun room for all of us to hang out in. Suzanne who managed the house was super responsive to very minor items. We would definitely stay here again.Notes: If you cannot handle a flight of steps, this is not the place for you. Also, Savannah is a town where there are always historical home improvements happening - do not be surprised by very minor construction noises no matter where you stay.

Perfect location

Such a great house and carriage appendix! Lots of old school charm and nicely remodeled bathrooms! Epic location and easy walking distance to all the places. Really enjoyed the courtyard. This property was everything we wanted and needed.

Charming and Perfect

We had a wonderful time in Savannah for my daughter’s wedding. The home was excellent. From the minute we walked in the front door we felt at home. Plenty of space to be together and as needed time alone. We would all highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home, great location. Our group loved int.

The bedrooms are big, quiet, and everyone enjoyed a private, remodeled bathroom. Plenty of room in the house for nine seniors to move around, enjoy talking or just being quiet. The courtyard was a favorite for breakfast. Right off Washington Square, and an easy walk to River Street and Broughton shopping district. The house is right on the hop-on hop-off tour bus route. Two garage spaces were very convenient. The house is beautiful and was perfect for us, but it's time for some TLC: scrape and paint exterior, fix some falling cabinet doors, update dishwasher. Suzanne was great to work with.

Weekend getaway.

We rented both main house and carriage house for the weekend and was very pleased with the lodging. Parking was an issue due to limited availability and small alleyway access. The welcome book was very detailed but did lean moreso to a rules and regulation standard operating procedures guidebook rather than an informative insight to the property and city of Savannah. The historic charm was truely the highlight of the weekend as this property does deliver. Neighbors are welcoming and were a pleasure to correspond with. The home being off the main roadway did make for a quiet nights rest. I overall do want thank the owner and VRBO for the opportunity to stay in such an historic charm.

Perfection!

My family and I stayed here over the 4th of July holiday. The house and location were perfect. We were within walking distance to restaurants and the riverfront, and yet we felt secluded and private. The courtyard area was an extra bonus. We enjoyed family conversation and games there. In the morning the birds seemed to enjoy the area, also! They serenaded us with song. ☺️

Savannah Girls Trip

Amazing location!! We walked just about everywhere. We had a twelve woman girls trip and this house fit us perfect. There was a tiny problem with one of the brand new AC units but Suzanne took care of it within a day. Suzanne had great suggestions on things to do and places to eat. Even a personal chef! We used all 6 bedrooms and each bedroom has a separate bathroom. Perfect place for us. we would highly recommend it to everyone.

Great trip

A group of 12 stayed here. The house is great and had ample room for all of us. Close to restaurants and shops so were were able to walk to everything. Owner was very quick to reply to a plumbing issue and sent a repair person immediately. A great way to spend a few days enjoying Savannah!

WOW!!

This property is truly amazing. The location could not be better - within walking distance of everything, yet far enough away from the action at night so you get a good night sleep. The amenities and furnishings were very suitable and it was SUPER CLEAN. The property manager was prompt on all communications and was very accommodating to all requests. This is a must stay property for anyone looking to enjoy Savannah.

Gem of a rental in a great location

Fantastic property well located for exploring Savannah on foot. We rented both the house and carriage house which gave us full access to the courtyard as well. Home was spotless when we arrived and nicely furnished and appointed. Binder with recommendations was very helpful though it lists more options than we could explore in a long weekend! Definitely recommend this rental for a group or large family.

Great Victorian Home

A group of us stayed at this home and it is super charming, very spacious and so lovely. The furniture is very victorian and each of the rooms has its own bathroom, which was a lifesaver with 10 people staying. The carriage house is super cute and has it's own little kitchen, it's basically a small apartment. Everything went well, the only minor thing is that the lockbox is a little hard to open and close, not sure if a bigger one should be placed but that is minor. Overall, I highly recommend this home and it's walking distance to everything!! I would rent this in a heartbeat. Loved it from beginning to end.

Fantastic Location

I can't say enough great things about our experience here. First, the location is perfect, you're within a 15 minute walk to everything in Downtown Savannah. The house is beautiful and wonderfully maintained with everything you need, including a cool courtyard. The extra apartment above the garage allowed us to spread out a bit instead of all cramming into one place. If my group returns to Savannah, this will be the first place we look to stay.

Great stay at Washington Square home

This was a great stay! I have been to Savannah numerous times, but wanted my family visiting of 12 to experience a great time and this was the perfect home. It had the space, cleanliness, history and traditional feel of what Savannah is. The location was good if you wish to be near the River but slightly distant from forsyth park section. But if you know Savannah, it is a walking city so just get your walking shoes ready.

Wedding party in Savannah

We rented this out for a celebration of our wedding in Savannah with 11 friends and relatives. It was spacious enough for all of us though the kitchen could get crowded easily. We were all impressed with how luxurious it was, though we had to beware a broken cabinet and piece of outdoor furniture that left one of us with a bruise . Overall, a great stay especially with a party of people. Street parking wasn't bad either.
