Benvenuti a Savannah Sunset, una tenuta sull'oceano con piscina a Little Bay. Entra nella nostra grande stanza, che scoppia con viste spettacolari dei Caraibi da ogni finestra delle finestre da pavimento a soffitto. La grande sala extra-grande include una cucina aperta, sala da pranzo e zona giorno, tutti generosamente proporzionati e pieni di ogni comfort che potreste avere bisogno. Prepara il tuo pescato del giorno nella nostra cucina all'avanguardia, dotata di cinque fornelli a gas, due forni a muro, un frigorifero con porta francese e un sacco di spazio per la preparazione e lo stoccaggio.

Il piano di Savannah Sunset è perfetto per grandi riunioni familiari. Godetevi molti pasti con la famiglia presso la grande sala da pranzo con vista sull'oceano (i sedili della sala da pranzo 8, con ulteriore posti a sedere nella sala adiacente schermo se necessario). Accanto alla zona pranzo c'è la zona giorno, con divano e sedie per sei persone. Trascorri ore di relax, letture e goditi le viste spettacolari da questo bel spazio con il suo muro di finestre che si affacciano a ovest.

La camera che amiamo meglio è il nostro ampio portico schermato, appena fuori dalla sala da pranzo grande sala, che si affaccia verso il mare e ha una spettacolare vista sull'oceano su tutti e tre i lati. E 'arredato con divano e sedie in vimini e un tavolo da pranzo con quattro posti. Goditi la brezza marina e guarda il tramonto sui Caraibi da questo meraviglioso spazio.

Il livello principale della casa ha anche due ampie camere da letto, entrambe con letti king, bagni privati ​​e TV satellitare a schermo piatto. Una camera da letto ha una vista sull'oceano e una con vista sul giardino.

C'è anche una stanza in polvere separata a questo livello, appena fuori dalla grande sala. Accanto è un foyer dove teniamo gli asciugamani da spiaggia ei giochi d'acqua. L'atrio si apre sulla passeggiata a bordo che ti porta nella nostra area ricreativa con vista sull'oceano (ne riparleremo più avanti).

Dal livello principale, prendi l'ampio scala a battello a tema nautico fino al livello più basso. Questo livello dispone di una camera familiare extra-grande dotata di comodi divani, grande TV e una vasta collezione di giochi, libri e altri divertimenti.

Accanto alla camera familiare è una camera da letto sovradimensionata che può ospitare fino a 6 persone. Questa luminosa e allegra camera è dotata di un letto matrimoniale, due letti singoli e due letti a rotelle. Ha un bagno completo.

Il livello inferiore è inoltre dotato di una lavanderia separata con lavatrice e asciugatrice.

La caratteristica migliore di Savannah Sunset è la zona ricreativa sull'oceano nei Caraibi. Qui abbiamo un gazebo coperto di fronte all'oceano quattro lounging sul mare e divertente. C'è anche una banchina da barca con una scala fino all'acqua. Questa zona protetta è ottima per il nuoto tutto l'anno e offre eccellenti snorkeling e altri sport acquatici proprio nel cortile. C'è anche una rampa per lanciare il nostro paddleboard e kayak. E una nuovissima piscina a sfioro con una splendida vista sul Mar dei Caraibi.

Pronto a colpire la spiaggia? Little Bay Beach, la nostra piccola spiaggia vicina, si trova a 150 metri lungo la riva dalla Savannah Sunset House, o 3/10 di un miglio di strada sterrata. Cammina lì attraverso l'acqua con la bassa marea o pedala su una delle nostre biciclette. La spiaggia di Ten Bay, lunga spiaggia di caraibici, è a 3 o 4 minuti in auto.

Non vuoi perdervi. La città di Palmetto Point, a soli 10 minuti dalla casa, ha diversi negozi più piccoli e un buon ristorante.

A cinque minuti di macchina c'è Savannah Sound, dove c'è un altro eccellente ristorante con vista sull'oceano, il Fishbone Beach Bar and Grill, aperto tutto l'anno. C'è anche un nuovo grande negozio di alimentari, Midway Cost Cutters.

Spring Get Away

Great house and location but needs some attention

Savannah Sunset is very spacious and comfortable and the location is spectacular. Three couples had an amazing week. The house was very clean and pretty well furnished but it needs some attention. There are a lot of deferred maintenance issues. Lots of little things but they add up. Hot water faucet in bath didn't work. Front door key lock box is almost impossible to get into. Not a sharp knife in the house. The pool guys didn't come until we called. The infinity pool is not one because they didn't fill the pool up. The house instruction book is completely out of date (by 10 years) and promises things that are not provided i.e. welcome dinner, maid service etc. They need to update it or remove it as it is misleading. The water cooler leaks on the floor. No instructions about check in or check out were provided. The access road is terrible and you really need a vehicle with high clearance to get it and out. Nevertheless it was a great spot to enjoy the sun and ocean. The house was very good but could have been so much better with a little attention by the owner or manager.

Pink Paradise

Fantastic set up for us - (2 sisters in our 60's, an adult daughter & 3 of her girlfriends.) Room situation fantastic as my sister and I had our own en-suites on the main floor and the girls bunked downstairs together in the nautical room.Screened-in porch was wonderful! Feels like being on a boat. Nice to have pool right there and direct access to the beautiful Bahamian water. Fun to have kayaks and a SUP.Downside was that a few minor things didn't work in the house and the no-seeum gnats are pesky. And you have to drive quite a lot to get to places.But the beaches on the island are unbelievable and worth the price of admission.If you want a restful spot with incredible sunsets, this is the place.

Great stay on Eleuthera!

This was our 3rd visit to Eleuthera and this was our favorite property!! The house worked perfect for our family of 5 and my parents, and Desmond just saved us when our flight was cancelled! Can’t say enough about Savannah sunset!!

Best vacation ever for secluded beautiful Caribbean vacation

We felt like we had the whole Sound to ourselves. We utilized the infinity pool when the water was more rough from storms ( since traveled during rainy/hurricane season) and used the beautiful ocean on calm days for swimming, snorkeling, paddle boarding, kayaking. Just resting and being with family! The house was perfect had enough dos e for bedrooms and kitchen had what we needed as we cooked most meals at the house! The screen porch was great for enjoying the tropical weather in our pj’s while having morning coffee or winding down in the evening discuss which new sea creatures we saw that day snorkeling while enjoying the amazing sunsets before bed. Wished there was more than one functional kayak is my only improvement suggestion.

Beautiful setting

The setting was beautiful. Perfect for rest and relaxation. We swam and enjoyed using kayaks paddle boards and snorkel gear on the ocean.

Absolutely Perfect!

We could not have asked for more perfect place to stay during our time in Eleuthera. The kayaks, the snorkeling, the pool, the screened porch, the views, the SUNSETS…. We didn’t want to leave the house! The house had it all, the downstairs space was perfect for our teenage kids. I will def stay here again. Desmond (the property manager) was so helpful and responsive with all of our needs. It was great to have him nearby. Can’t wait to go back!

Fabulous island with the most welcoming people

The images posted on the site were completely accurate. The house is beautiful and although we had a small group, the house could definitely support many more guests. The location was good for us as it was somewhat midway on the island. The island has one main road, which we got to know pretty well as we drove to explore the various beaches and sites every day. The pool is beautiful, but not heated. So, it was actually colder than the ocean/sea water. The house is equipped with everything you need to have fun... Bikes (though I would never risk riding on those roads), kayaks, boogie boards, etc.. The water equipment is inflatable, so make sure you pump them up before taking them out. Waking up every morning to see sunrise and the calm (or angry) water as the sun comes up or watch the gorgeous sunsets every night... Definitely highlights. We would definitely return.

Awesome

There were 3 couples and the house fit perfect for our needs. Everyone had their own bed and bath. Kitchen well equipped. View was better than expected. Loved the covered deck on the ocean. We will be planning a trip back to this property. The drive coming in was crazy but worth it. Not sure I would bring small children due to the lack of railing at the end of the pool but I understand why they weren't there. Wouldn't want anything blocking the view. Location was great being in the middle of the island. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic view and relaxing trip.

Great house, great location, great island but very poor customer service by owner and housekeeper

- Housekeeper/property manager was reluctant to do her basic job. She was non-responsive and unhelpful when we reached out to ask for help. She definitely has a log on her shoulder. Such sour, unpleasant and disrespectful attitudes from the get-go. We have never been made to feel so un-welcomed at a VRBO rental. By far the poorest house manager we have met in all our VRBO rentals! - We lost all power for 15 hours with no electricity and no water. The generator was supposed to kick in but didn't because it was broken. The housekeeper/manager was non-responsive when we reported this, she told us to go outside of the house, find the generator and turn on and off and try fixing the generator ourselves, which was so dangerous. When that didn't work, she said she would call someone to come fix it but never informed us about any progress. No one ever came. We finally reached out to the owner, who again told us to try to fix the generator, this time by removing a part of the switch (the fuse) and putting it back on. That didn't work either. So the owner sent a guy in the middle of the night. He was not an electrician, and almost set himself on fire by spraying the generator with some starter fluid. All this happened at mid-night , outside, in the dark. - After the above events, the amazing thing was that no one made any attempt to reach out and check on how we were doing, or offered any gesture of goodwill. Of course, we are very happy with the Island and we had lots of good memories to take home with us. We won't let couple of inconsiderate and unprofessional people ruin our vacation, but nonetheless feel that we need to report it just to be fair with other renters.

Wonderful

Over the years we have rented many properties through VRBO. All across the Caribbean and Hawaii. This was by far the nicest home we’ve ever rented. It was clean and fresh with a kitchen fit for a gourmet chef. Plenty of towels and linens, comfortable beds, and all the amenities of home. Although there is some construction finishing up next door, it’s in a quiet secluded location with easy access to nearby groceries, (Midway Costcutter) Tenbay Beach (3 minute drive) and some great snorkeling. There are coolers available for a day trips. We went north one afternoon to Queens Bath and Glass Bridge stopping for snacks and ice cream along the way. Also went south one morning to Ocean Hole, Lighthouse Beach, and stopped in Rock Sound to buy fresh fish from a local fisherman. The only disappointing aspect of this property is the extremely restrictive and unforgiving cancellation policy. The worst I’ve ever seen. At no point would you ever get all of your money back, and property managers won’t allow you to contact the owner personally. If your okay with that then I strongly recommend it. It’s a stunningly beautiful home in a Caribbean paradise and its central location makes it great for exploring. We will be back!!!

CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!

I've been going to Eleuthera for several years and have rented over a dozen places easily......none of them compare to this!!!!!! Absolutely beautiful! FANTASTIC AND WELL STOCKED KITCHEN for those that like to cook. Everything you can possible think of. We got fresh fish and lobster from dock in Tarpum bay and cooked most of our own food!!! The pink grocery store just minutes South of home is BY FAR THE BEST ON THE ISLAND THAT I'VE FOUND!!!!!! The quality and prices of inventory was really the best I've seen on island from Bogue to Current and all the way down to Gregory Town and GH. They also make their own banana bread and sweets and sell them in the store. owners also very friendly!! The color scheme in Savana Sunset is unbelievable! It would seem that a lot of time and money went in to decorating this home......it's like out of a brochure. The cleaning lady Virginia is EXCELLENT and would put a lot of women out of business in the states. I CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!

Wonderful place for our 50 year anniversary

Love Savannah Sunset. The screen porch, pool and deck by the water was perfect. Pray everyone is ok after Dorian. We left the Saturday before Aug 31. Would definitely go here again!!!!

Paradise Found

Beautiful home for our first trip to the Bahamas. Centrally located for access to both the Northern and Southern points of interest. Snorkeling right off the shore was good. We had some difficulties with the entertainment system however Virginia ironed it out. The peace and total quiet were at times interrupted by construction noise at the house being built next door however outside of working hours it felt like being at the end of the world.
