“I had myself and my grandmother in a handicap room. There was a huge lip to get over the doorstep into the room itself, which is harder to do with a walker. The bed itself was much too high, and I had to pick her up and roll her into bed every night and every time she got up to use the restroom. I would never call this a handicap bathroom with the exception that there are railings near the toilet, but the shower is completely inaccessible because it’s a bathtub not a walk-in shower.”
