Great Hot tub
A few kitchen utensils were dirty, nothing that a quick wash didn't fix. But apart from that, beds were clean. Hot tub was great and warm on arrival which was very much appreciated. Also, the lovely welcome gifts were a beautiful touch. Thank you 😊

Relaxing recuperation
We had a lovely stay in the lodge in Burniston. The directions were great and first impressions were lovely. Really great open plan which was clean and bright and felt cosy despite the rain outside. The kitchen had everything that you could possibly need and the thoughtful extras supplied were greatly appreciated. We didn’t venture out to the hot tub until after dark due to the cold wet weather and were a little apprehensive about it, however removing the cover and the welcoming warmth soon alleviated our worries. It was just fabulous and a relaxing luxury that we repeated a few times in our stay. The lodge was cosy and comfortable and the location was great. We will be happily looking at returning again in the future. Highly recommend and thank you 😊

Fantastic Location
We had a very pleasant family getaway at this lodge. A great location between Whitby and Scarborough, with the lodge it self nestled away at the beck of the complex. Hot tub was large and warm on arrival, with it overlooking a field where we spotted deer and pheasants. The lodge itself was warm and cozy with all and more that you’ll need for a few nights away. The welcome pack was a nice touch. Some great walks locally and we can’t wait to return to explore the area more.

Nice break
The best things about this property are the quiet location and outlook, proximity to the coast and national park and the reasonable cost. It's tucked away in a quiet corner but it's starting to show it's age a bit but is still a perfectly pleasant place to stay. The kitchen is well equipped and showers work well. Both double beds are standard 4ft 6in double beds and were ok. We felt the mattresses needed replacing though. The hot tub is great. We couldn't find any instructions re heating, hot tub or anything else which we found a bit odd? We were only there for a couple of nights so it wasn't a huge problem to us. Overall it was good and we might well stay there again.

Enjoyed our stay
We enjoyed our stay, the kitchen, dining, living area was lovely and very clean as were the bedrooms however the bathrooms needed a clean in the corners and possibly the removal of shelving which had gone rusty. Just spoilt the look and feel. All this said we would return as we absolutely loved the hot tub and saw baby deer one mornig in the field beyond out back. The host was very friendly.

Fantastic stay
The property was lovely and clean and very spacious. The younger ones (24-14 yrs) loved the hot tub, which was at temperature when we arrived. Unfortunately we (the parents) didn’t get chance to use it. We spent most of our weekend at Whitby Goth Weekend, which was rammed, so the peace and quiet of Burniston was a welcome retreat. The welcome pack and wine, after a long Friday night journey, were a nice touch.

Fabulous!!
I took my children and nieces for a little half term break. The lodge was beautiful, clean and extremely well equipped with a complimentary welcome pack which was very much appreciated. The lodge is on a secure gated park which made us feel safe and backs onto fields and trees and really makes you feel like you are away from it all!! We all had a lovely relaxing holiday and was fantastic to have real quality time with the family!!

Weekend away with grandkids
Good quiet location. Very safe and secure. Good views from lodge. Lodge had all amenities and a good sized hot tub. Only a short drive to either Whitby or Scarborough, and plenty of restaurants and pub grub close by.

Peaceful Tranquillity
Just what we needed to be out of the rat race of a city suburb. This spot is tranquil and while overlooking a farmers field, did offer a spotting of deer every now and then.

Lovely placec,good sized lodge, well stocked with equipment. Lovely touch wine and milk on arrival. Just needed a bit of TLC in certain places decoration, decking. But a very nice place and sure ibeill be back

Family holiday
The lodge was as described and very clean inside.and the bedrooms and bathrooms well presented. Beds comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Hot water was plentiful. Very quiet location overlooking fields. The decking could do with a little TLC. The hot tub was very good and everyone enjoyed it. The garden could also do with a little work and the area on the side opposite the entrance could also do with cutting and tidying as it would enhance the property in our opinion. Overall a lovely lodge with adequate parking and in an excellent location for visiting the North Yorkshire Moors and the coastal resorts (Whitby and Bridlington about 40 minutes away and Scarborough town centre 15 minutes). Also on a bus route. A couple of pubs serving excellent food were a 20 minute walk.

Would definitely recommend this property for a family break. Spacious, clean lodge on a secure gated site. Very peaceful surroundings overlooking open fields. Hot tub with parasol a massive bonus! Close to Scarborough.

Excellent Time Had By All
Everything was easy. Arrival couldn’t have been easier (passenger needs to put the code in the box for the gate) and everywhere was very clean and well presented. Photos were accurate even to seeing a deer one day. I’m far from being an expert on hot tubs in fact a complete novice but it was a tub and it was hot. The location was pleasant and peaceful. Dropped a star for location as the pub was too far to walk. Oh yes and the shops too. Everything needed on arrival was already there and waiting though.

The lodge was spacious and very clean. One of the best equipped places we've stayed. Check in was simple and directions were spot on. Excellent place to stay, hot tub was great and really quiet and peaceful.

Perfect setting
Loved our stay, plenty of room and very clean and comfortable with modern fittings. Everything well thought out including, tea/coffee/towels/wine. Hot tub was so relaxing, plenty of bubble options just make sure you hold the button long enough. Not overlooked in hot tub or outside lodge, feels very private. Really easy to check in and out Diane was super responsive when I sent a text about the hot tub and had no other reason to get in touch because everything was perfect. Great location for exploring the Yorkshire coastline and villages.

Needs updating
On arrival we didn't see the people who owned the lodge even though they were next door to us we thought it would of been nice to say hello , the inside was fairly clean but little things like a leak on the roof which hasn't been painted and general Marks here and there which we wasn't to bothered about but if it's classed as luxury I think these neeed to be looked at . The biggest disappointment was the decking and outside furniture the furniture was old knackered furniture which needed sanding and painting. And that went for the decking it needed serious work it was green the fence was and in some places it was rotten and the hot tub only went on slightly since it didn't have a blower installed it really was like a hot bath but if all the points got sorted it would be beautiful we go to alot of hot tub and lodges and we was disappointed with this one

Lovely Relaxed Hen Weekend
We decided to book this for my friends 30th / Hen weekend. Were not the type of people to go clubbing till 3am, and much prefer an ice cream and a walk on the beach. Perfect location for visiting scarborough as its only a 10 minute drive, and im sure there are buses from the main road which is about a 5 minute walk. It was lovely to stay in a place with plenty of room so we weren't getting on top of each other. There was even a bath and a 8 seat dining table! Kitchen was great - extractor hood was a bit wobbly so be careful. Really clean space. The lights didnt work on the Hot tub and the jets / bubbles didnt work 100% but it didn't spoil anything. The host had left us some wine and had the hot tub warm and ready for us. The only thing negative i would say is the hot tub, couldn't find a mop, and no hand soap. But all in all a great place to stay. The hen is looking to book it for a family holiday.

Nice, relaxing stay but needs a little tlc
Just arrived back from a 2 night stay at Diane's lodge, check-in & out was so simple, pleasantly surprised with complimentary wine, tea, coffee biscuits (thankyou). Lovely spacious place with everything you would need when away from home, only things I was disappointed with was the cleanliness of the kitchen area, crumbs, dirty glasses in cupboard etc, the décor could do with refreshing also, but that's just my personal opinion.
