“This was the most relaxing stay! We were deep in the countryside in our own stone village with great amenities and fresh bread, fruit, cheese, jam and honey for our kitchen every day. No restaurant on site or in walking distance but it was fun and challenging diving around exploring the region on back roads to get to the each town with its castle and church. ”

“We added Gondramaz to our itinerary at the last minute and this stay ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. João was very helpful, accommodating and quick to reply. The place was spotless, charming and had everything we needed for a perfect stay. The house was tastefully renovated and furnished while keeping the original look of the schist house. It is deceptively large for its location, and its spot in the village allows for most windows and the backyard to overlook the beautiful...

Le village est entouré de magnifiques forêts de pins et d'eucalyptus qui contournent un lac majestueux. Un endroit idéal pour faire le plein d'air pur. L'attention et la gentillesse des propriétaires et du voisinage est a souligner. Les belles villes de Tomar et Abrantes sont proches et incontournables. “Loved the property. Views are wonderful, Very clean and had everything we needed”

“We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the home of Jos! The house was located close to cafe's and attractions in Penela. The house is very well stocked with utensils, small appliances and anything you could need to feel at home. The house was clean and the back yard area was pleasant to sit out and view the mountain. The house was more than affordable! Jos even checked on us twice to make sure everything was ok. Thank you for letting us stay.”

“We absolutely loved our stay here! It was perfect for our big group and had everything we needed and more. The house and its outside area is beautifully decorated, the pool is perfect for the warm weather and we felt safe and well taken care of the whole time - if we needed something or had questions, the management was just a WhatsApp message away. There‘s not too much to do in the closer vicinity but we didn’t feel the need to leave the property anyway, as there was a great tennis court...

"The hotel is a fashionable old mansion. Service from the receptionists was really professional. Rooms (ours were in a more modern building) need some upkeep and renovation, the same for the spa area which is a bit outdated. Beds were really comfortable and price / quality was perfect."

"Consapevoli che arrivare al centro di Coimbra in auto è impresa difficile, fanno l' impossibile per rendere semplice la spiegazione del percorso. Accoglienza strepitosa con un calore ed una gentilezza fuori dal comune. L' hotel è improntato sulla Sapienza anche negli arredi e nei dettagli. Niente è lasciato al caso e anche chi fa training è accogliente come gli altri. Unica pecca, comunque a tutto il Portogallo, nessuno parla italiano. Ci siamo capiti ugualmente perché la gentilezza dei portoghesi sopperisce questa mancanza "
