  • Cozy vacation apartment featuring plenty of wood and furnished with attention to detail. The entire apartment is wheelchair-accessible, and a shower wheelchair is available. Spacious rooms renovated in a contemporary style, suitable even for the most discerning guests. Two bathrooms and a modern kitchen with a cooking island and high-quality appliances leave nothing to be desired. Sustainability is important to us: solar panels, heat recovery in the showers, and a heat pump ensure a sustainable living experience. Schmitten, the village on the sunny plateau of the Albula Valley. Very child-friendly with plenty of fire pits and an inviting playground. Wir haben zu 7 (5 Erwachsene und 2 Kinder) eine tolle Woche in Schmitten in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Wohnung von Anita und Urs verbracht. Die beiden sind wunderbare Gastgebende und haben vom ersten Moment an dafür gesorgt, dass wir uns wohlfühlen und es uns an nichts fehlt. Die Wohnung ist mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Und auch die Kinder hatten ihren Spass mit den Spielsachen und der gemütlichen Kinderecke. Wir empfehlen die Wohnung klar weiter!

Wir hatten einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt. Urs und Anita sind ganz liebe, aufmerksame Gastgeber. Die Wohnung ist mit Hingabe ausgestattet, es ist alles da, was das Herz begehrt.

Modern eingerichtete Wohnung mit besonders gut ausgestatteter Küche. Prima-Laden und Postautohaltestelle in 25 Metern Entfernung. Sehr nette Gastgeber! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt: Familie mit zwei Kindern, 13 und 10 Jahre alt.

Wunderschöne Wohnung mit liebe zum Detail

Wir waren über Silvester zum Skifahren in dieser wundervollen Wohnung. Sie ist bestens ausgestattet, die Betten sehr bequem und die Vemieter stets hilfsbereit und sehr nett. Wir haben viel gekocht und die Küche ist bestens ausgestattet. Die Straße nach Davos war stets geräumte, sodass man von Schmitten aus jeden Tag schnell in den tolle. Skigebieten ist. Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Super netter Gastgeber. In der Unterkunft gibt es wirklich alles was man braucht. Sogar einen Grill und eine Popcorn-Maschine. Selbst Gewürze, Öl, Essig etc. sind vorhanden. Absolutes "Susi-Sorglos-Paket"

Excellent jumping off point for the hiking we planned on doing in the mountains, and an easy hike down to the Landwasser Viaduct (though the climb back up was not quite as easy).Steps to groceries. Unfortunately not a lot in the way of restaurants in Schmitten, and we were travelling without a car - which we understood in retrospect why it was surprising to the host when we arrived. The first night we walked down the hill to Alvaneu (about 5km) for a serviceable dinner at La Cantina. We got some groceries the next morning (the grocer is open from 8:00 to 12:00 daily) for breakfast and for snacks on the hoof, and then just made sure we were hiking through a town at dinner hour one night, and barbequed some sausages and vegetables at the property one night. Kitchen facilities at the property were great - the best I've had at a VRBO (or that other one I'm not allowed to name here, apparently).I probably wouldn't recommend not having a car to most prospective guests at this property, but it worked for us.Property was lovely for our crew of six - three "real" adults, two technical adults (20 and 18), and one brat (15) - and could have comfortably slept eight. We somehow did not get around to using the sauna. Had a bit of initial confusion but ultimately got our clothes clean in the laundry facilities. And loved the mountain air.Urs was a pleasure to deal with. Anita was out of town while we were there.
