Cottage a Schroeder

“This was our first stay here and it was very good! The breakfast was decent and well maintained. The staff was helpful and the room was clean. I'm still a bit shocked by the price of rooms per night and add on fees, but I realize this seems to be normal now up and down the North Shore. But it's apparent this property is trying to draw in more kids and families here offering family fun things to do and that is appreciated. We stayed here because it was close to our hiking plans. We would...

“Enjoyed our short, stay. Kitchen supplies were limited, but definitely sufficient for our cooking needs. Loved the private deck to listen to the waves. I didn’t enjoy quiet time.”

“Awesome very nice place and location”

“The property, the home and the host were wonderful. The house was just beautiful and had great lake views from the back windows. the lake was just a short walk out the back door. We were a family of 5 and dogs staying and everything was stocked in the kitchen so we could eat our meals there instead of restaurants. The walking paths nearby were great. Checkin and checkout were easy. Love this place!”

“This was our first time staying at Halsnoy Haven. It is the perfect home for a relaxing stay for two people. The view of the lake was incredible. The deck was the perfect place to have a coffee in the morning. Our stay happened during a heat wave but the breeze from the lake kept the temps perfect. We brought our bikes and could easily get on the Gitchi gami trail for a ride to the winery or to Tofte. Close drive to Grand Marais and many popular hikes. The Property manager is very responsive and...

“We (extended family of 13) had an absolutely unforgettable stay at this incredible property! The house was perfect for our group, offering plenty of spacious bedrooms so everyone had a bed and comfortable space. We enjoyed taking in the stunning views of beautiful Lake Superior from various spaces around the house. The amenities here are top-notch. The kitchen is exceptionally well-stocked with everything needed to prepare meals for a large group. We also loved that the home features multiple...

“Beautiful secluded home. Well stocked kitchen with induction stove and most of the equipment you’d need for cooking and baking. Oil, salt pepper and many dried spices available (but nothing spicy or onion or garlic powders if you need that). If you’re looking to cook in, bring groceries with you - or at least recognize that there are no full size grocery stores beyond Super One in Twin Harbors, i think.Fantastic sunrise view including right from the bed in the master upstairs. Two bedrooms...
