“Have been wanting to stay here for years and it was well worth the wait. We were welcomed by Christina who made us feel at home and showed us to our room (Ward's Stone) which was immaculate, spacious and has a large bathroom with rainfall shower. The pub was busy (it's obviously popular with locals, a good sign) but there's lots of places to sit so that wasn't a problem. We had a few drinks and had supper that evening. “Such a great place to stay for a couple of nights. The staff are excellent; friendly and very helpful. The breakfasts were excellent, too. And our twin room was very comfortable - very comfy beds and excellent shower en-suite. Very nice touches in lots of ways. We ate dinner both nights and were very impressed with both the quality and quantity of the meals. We really hope we will have another visit! ”
