Bring the whole family to this stunning lakefront log cabin with lots of rooms for fun. It located in the best areas on Barren River Lake. Only 10min to boat rental; 30 min to Mammoth Cave and GM Corvette Museum.

5 bd & 4.5 ba keep 14 people living comfortably. 2 level decks overlook the lake and are perfect for entertaining.

The game room w/pool, ping pong, foosball tables, and a hot tub sits at lower deck. This is the best place for group/family that looking for a lake getaway reunion.

Great stay, in keeping with the description. Nice kitchen and gathering space. Would have liked a table more conducive to playing games, but not a big deal. It was a cold weekend. Heat and AC worked well with a total of 4 thermostats plus the electric fireplace. Steps were not ideal for the age of some guests but that was my fault not the property owner’s. Plenty of bathrooms, which was outstanding! We had 14 people stay at the house and it was comfortable. Laundry was nice although we did not use it. Hosts were friendly and responsive. The area is beautiful!

We just returned from a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday at Cozy Cabin. There were 2 families and we all had an outstanding time. First, the kitchen was so well stocked with cooking utensils, dinnerware, and cookware, that we were able to prepare a Thanksgiving dinner for 8, as well as breakfasts, lunches and dinner for the entire 4 days. We had brought many of our own cooking supplies, but never needed to unpack them. We had everything we needed and more. In addition, the house had a great layout that allowed us to hangout with each other without feeling cramped. The open floor plan let us hang in the kitchen, play games in front of the fire and move about all at the same time. The big hit was the game room. There wasn't a moment when at leasts 2 people weren't down their playing some game. We also had great competitions, which led to a lot of fun and laughter. Finally, the view cannot be beat. We sat at the huge kitchen island and on the sofas and watched eagles fly about throughout the day. It was also close to a Dollar General and hiking. The house was extremely clean and the hosts great with communication. We can't wait to return.!

The cabin is stunning, the host was very welcoming and even checked on us the night we checked in. We’re already planning to come back soon. There’s so much to do without ever needing to leave the cabin. Our kids loved the game room and there’s so much room, inside and out! It was absolutely perfect!

Our family loved our stay here. The house had everything we could have needed. The view is gorgeous. There's a great pizza place right down the road and a Dollar General Market near by if you need anything for your stay.

The Cozy Cabin was perfect for our family getaway! We had a wide range of ages, between 6 months and 39 years, and everyone had a good time. The house was beautiful. The views were incredible. We had everything we needed to make big breakfasts and dinners in the kitchen. The rooms were so comfortable. And the hot tub was a hit! We will definitely be coming back again.

Had a great family vacation. House was very spacious and clean. My family had a great time playing games in the basement. My 4 star rating is because the temperature of the house was 77-79 degrees every afternoon. The afternoon sun coming in through the large windows made the upstairs quite uncomfortable. The windows are gorgeous, but having blides or shades would've really helped.

Wedding weekend

We absolutely loved this cabin! We hosted a small wedding for our daughter, and it was perfect for the occasion. Even though the storms kept us from having it outside, everything still turned out great. The check in process was very easy. The cabin was super clean. There’s more than enough room for a big family. We look forward to staying here again in the future!

Fantastic Cabin

Great experience! Great and flexible hosts. Plenty of space and bathrooms. A little bummed the fireplace wasn’t working, but otherwise no complaints.

Beautiful Cabin

Beautiful cabin and very spacious! If you are thinking about booking don’t let this one pass by! The only thing I would say about this is they need a bigger water heater or a tankless water heater for endless hot water. They have a 50g tank and when my husband and I would turn on the water for the hot tub in the bathroom the hot water ran out very quickly and would have to wait some time for the hot water to come back before being able to shower. Definitely would book this again and bring my whole family!!!

Christmas at Cozy Cabin

We had 8 adults and 4 children (12-19) and there was room for all. We have stayed in several cabins during Christmas over the years and this one has the most amazing view of Barren River Lake. We enjoyed drinking our coffee and eating breakfast looking out over the lake. There was plenty of room for everyone and an awesome place for the kids on the lower level with lots of different activities for them and the adults to have challenges (pool table, ping pong table, hockey table and more). We loved the kitchen as it had lots of room for several to be preparing meals at the same time. The laundry was convenient on the main level and the half bath on the main level was also convenient. All the bathrooms were spacious with plenty of towels for all. And the hot tub was a big hit! I could go on and on. You just need to check it out for yourself. The weather was pretty nice and we were able to sit outside several times. I can just imagine what it would be like during the summer time! You can't go wrong with this Cozy Cabin and the owners were so nice and responsive to our questions. Five stars are not enough!

An incredible view and house!

I would consider us somewhat connoisseurs of vacation home properties given that we have three kids. We visited Jane's property as a group of two families with a total of five adults and five children between ages of 7 and 13. I can say that there is plenty of space for everybody to have their own personal bed as well as abundance of private bathroom so we are we're not all sharing. The view of the lake is absolutely incredible. For the older boys they were able to scale the cliff down to the lake for fishing but not advise that for some of the younger children. Kitchen is well stocked and I was able to easily cook several meals and breakfast. Mammoth Caves was a 45 minute drive which is just fine for us to be able to get a property large enough and comfortable enough for our group. Jane went out of her way to answer any questions I had and provide some recommendations before and during our stay. This is not a sterile, company-run vacation property at all that leaves you with the bare minimum in supplies and comfort! The house felt like a home away from home.

Perfect Ladies Retreat Setting

Book this cabin! Me and 8 of my friends booked this cabin for a Ladies Retreat. We did not leave the cabin at all, except for our morning walks down the county road that the cabin is located on. (There is a Dollar General at the end of the road if you need supplies) We brought groceries for all of our meals and the kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks to be in the kitchen at the Same time and all the pots, pans, dishes, mugs, ect that our large group needed. The living room was perfect and we enjoyed the gas logs at night during our devotion time. Our favorite part of the cabin is the large deck off the back of the house with ample seating for everyone and the gas fire pit! We just loved everything about this cabin and highly recommend it!
