“The Outpost Inn was such a wonderful stay in Highlands! Our room was darling, well appointed with a little sitting area, fireplace and record player including some throw back records that put us in the mood. Bed/bedding was great, good shower pressure and products. Each afternoon we would hang out in the common spaces and firepits and enjoy a glass of wine, 'smores and meeting other travelers. “This is a great place to get away from everything. Great place for celebrating an anniversary or birthday. The restaurant is very good. Nightly specials. We have stayed here twice. It does have a pool. Mostly adults. We love it here.”

“It's been bought by a development group and they seem to be renovating for more of a High Hampton or Blackberry Farm vibe. Adding a 3 story hotel and such. Hope it doesn't mean prices are going to skyrocket as Dillard House has always been a great value. Super nice staff.”

“A good value for an affordable hotel. Room was modern and clean. I was on an adventure vacation, I was not looking to spend a lot of time in the hotel. Room was clean every day, staff was friendly and professional. Location is very convenient to everything. ”

“We have stayed here before and love it. So we booked again. Helpful and friendly staff. Hot breakfast is pouched eggs and sausage along with waffles etc…. Indoor pool is heated and it felt amazing even though it wax warm outside. Will stay again! ”
