You'll be less than one mile from Shell Beach; one mile from the heated pool, saunas, and tennis courts at the Del Mar Recreation Center; and four miles south of downtown Gualala.

This home welcomes up to 2 dogs -- the yard and nearby trails are ready for your pup. Driveway parking is available at the property. Detailed check-in instructions, including the door code, will be provided prior to your arrival. As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.



The Neighborhood:

Walk to hiking trails and gorgeous beaches from this Sea Ranch home, a dog-friendly coastal getaway with a private hot tub and firepit, panoramic views of the ocean, and access to community pools and tennis courts. For provisions, Gualala (10 minutes north) has grocery stores, restaurants, and a gas station. Jenner and Bodega Bay are scenic drives south.



Getting Around:

Watch for whale spouts on Walk On Beach, play a few rounds at the Sea Ranch Golf Links two miles north, swim in the heated pool at the Del Mar Recreation Center, or take a drive 22 miles north to the Point Arena Lighthouse to catch a spectacular sunset. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.



Other Things to Note:

You'll come home to an outdoor shower and a private hot tub, as well as WiFi, a flatscreen cable TV, a DVD player, and a collection of films to keep you entertained well into the evening. *Cell service and WiFi can be inconsistent



Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.



Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.



December through April is whale season. You may spot gray whales breaching right from the bluff trail nearby. Wildflower season (April-June) transforms the coastal bluffs into a tapestry of color -- worth an extra walk on the trails. Summer offers long days and warm afternoons, though the iconic Sonoma Coast fog often rolls in at sunrise and clears by noon.



Up to 2 dogs are welcome. Please keep dogs on leash on trails and clean up after them.
