Three days in Seal Beach

Nice location, sleeps six conformably, sleeping two adults on lumpy sofas is not fun. ( marketed that it sleeps 8) Parking & the rest of house ok. Some electrical problems with fans & other lighting. Cleaning people missed some towels placed in closet from past guests & dead flies in master toilet & tube. Again with a little maintenance this could be a great spot. Direction booklet differs from Maintenance company in so area, sheets left off or on, & placement for dirt towels.

Great location and views. House is lacking.

Loved the location. Balconies and rooftop patio are great. House needs many repairs. Spacious but broken lights, remotes missing batteries. Kitchen poorly stocked. One tiny stove. Appliances are lacking. Barely enough silverware to get through one meal.

Hotest week in So Cal history. The listing states the property has AC - it doesnt. 90 degree heat in house, could not sleep property manager (Vacasa) refuses to return calls. Had to check into a Marriott after first night to get some sleep. Will never do VRBO again- cannot trust property management to do the right thing when property is misrepresented.

Excellent Location

We loved the location of this property! Super close to all kinds of shops and food. The house itself is pretty outdated, and the floors werent cleaned very well, there were only a few hangers for clothes in the master, but there was ample storage space. The beds were comfortable, and the cross breeze was amazing. No screens on the doors, so that was a little weird, but we adjusted. We had a little issue with the garage keypad but someone came out right away to fix it. Overall a positive experience!

The overall property was very good. Location was outstanding. The 2nd bathroom upstairs does not have a nonstick surface in the bath tub making it very dangerous. All of the wine openers were broken and need to be replaced. I did not like the check-in procedures. The codes were not given until the day of rental, all my other rentals have been for at least the day before.

Great Location

This is a nice property to stay in with a perfect location basically across the street from the beach and one street removed from Main Street. Had a few minor issues that the property management took care of immediately. Kitchen is stocked well with dishes, serving pieces and wine glasses but I never found any larger chopping knives or larger pots to cook in. Most people want to go out anyway but we were there a week and had planned on cooking a few nights. Also wished they would have had a better oven. That being said it was a nice place to stay.

Seal Beach "Home away from Home!"

Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised the property was as described, (that is not always the case as pictures and words can make a property appear larger, closer to the beach, etc,). Location is amazing, views are excellent, comfortable, we all felt safe and secure, it was nicely decorated with modern amenities! Absolutely no complaints except with the rental company, VRBO, Vascasa or Turnkey? I have rented thru VRBO several times but this time "Turnkey" was reaching out to me with urgent messages about the property we had rented, requiring information to complete our rental. As far as I knew I had completed the rental with payment and was never told about Turnkey. I deleted all messages from Turnkey as I assumed this was spam or a scam! It made getting our arrival information difficult because we did not know about Turnkeys role with VRBO. The person who ultimately helped us thru Turnkey was very helpful and friendly!

Great place to stay

We loved this rental. The location was very convenient being so close to the beach, pier, and main street. Having a garage was a definite plus as we never had to worry about parking. We used the beach chairs, boogie boards, sun umbrella, and wheeled it all to the beach in the wagon provided. The beds were all very comfortable. We definitely recommend this home.

House was amazing. Did not realize that it was a duplex but the separation of space worked great. Easy walk down the ally to Main Street and several bar and grills. Easy walk to the pier and the beach. Having a garage was great due to the limited parking in the streets. Would rent again, highly recommend.

Great beach rental!

The location of this beach rental was perfect! Just across the street from the beach and a block away from coffee, restaurants, bars, and shops! The only minor inconvenience was the shower temperature. It was either boiling hot or ice cold. No I’m between. But I would stay here again and I highly recommend the place!

Family stay

This place was perfect for a beach getaway. Super close to the water and down town. At night you can hear the people at Clancy’s bar. Other then that is is amazing. Great location.
