“This property was the perfect place for our short trip to Maine. An easy 20-minute drive to Bar Harbor and even closer to Acadia. The apartment is clean and comfortable, nicely decorated and the property itself is beautiful. The porch overlooking the backyard is a nice plus. Barbara is a lovely host. ”

“We enjoyed our stay in the Elegant Suite! The Suite is Very Large 2 room suite with a nice size shower, 2 BR sinks and a Jacuzzi Tub (we did not use). It has a large kitchen sink, stove, microwave and Full refrigerator/freezer. Traditional Coffee maker and Keurig Cup in Suite. We were only there 3 days, but had everything we needed. “We had a lovely stay in this beautiful place. The kitchen was well-stocked and had the space and all the tools we needed to cook our meals. The location is perfect, on the quiet side of the island but across the street from a pebble beach and only a half mile to the cute town of Southwest Harbor, with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, art galleries, gift shops and a bakery. It’s an easy drive to some amazing hikes. Perfect for a couple’s getaway!”

Owners were accomodating, quick to respond, and made every effort to ensure our stay was enjoyable. “Although we were very pleased overall with our stay, I do have some complaints/criticisms: There were no instructions for contacting the property manager in an emergency, or what we might be expected to do on leaving (strip beds, empty trash?)
