“We loved the location of the room and the hot tub”

“The room appeared to be very clean but there was a lot of dust that had accumulated like it had been awhile since it was clean. There was no shampoo or conditioner. It was well stocked for cooking. We had a great experience with Maverick when we checked in and he helped us with our baggage, all the way to the room. He was friendly and informative Benjamin was great too as he gave a a tour of the property. He was very knowledgeable.”

“I’ve stayed at Ocean Gate Inn several times when visiting my son at UCSC, and the staff has always been kind and professional. One thing I really appreciate is how they go above and beyond — I’ve arrived as late as 1 a.m., and they’ve called to make sure I was still coming, which shows great customer service. “Good location, main road has restaurants across street and straight path to wharf or boardwalk. Very clean rooms. TV channels work. Shampoo provided in shower. Desk lady is highly friendly and nice, quite reasonable too. AC works. Minifridge available with microwave. Down sides: shower head is fixed not a hose, large shower is spacious sliding door though.
