A lovely family stay

This home gave us everything we needed while away on vacation as a solid home base. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, and many prime locations were a close drive away. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Beach Getaway

The cottage was super cute and quiet. We did lose power from 3AM- 12PM one day. Not hosts fault, but it would have been nice to have some flashlights available. Use of the Aquarium passes was a definite perk. Grateful. Maybe some placemats for the glass dining table. A little nervous we might break it. Overall, a great place to stay. We would return. Thank you for the generous use of your home.

Great time in Monterey

We had a great visit to Monterey. The house was a great space to come back an relax after a day of adventures. It was very clean and perfect for our family of four! We would definitely stay here again.

Great Wedding Weekend Stay

I booked this place for me and my husband’s stay for our wedding in Carmel and we had a spectacular time! It is small but feels very spacious and open. My bridal party came over to do our floral arrangements and we have the sweetest memories of putting together flowers on the front patio table under the shade. I cannot recommend this enough! I will definitely come back for these sweet memories as we continue to celebrate our wedding anniversaries to come. Also the aquarium passes were such a kind thought! I spoke a few times with the host and he was great and so kind. Thanks again!!

Lovely little Casita

Great for 4 adults or a family with children. We managed the one shower with 6 adults, which I wasn't sure we could do (but the 1/2 bath helped), but the sofa bed is just a full size, so recommend either one adult or 2 kids. It was a bit snug for our two adults. Patio was nice if the weather is good. Only 4 chairs to the kitchen table, so be aware if you're traveling with more than 4. Home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the free aquarium passes.

Fantastic Stay!

The house was tidy, very well stocked and organized. It had everything we needed. Usually, when we have rented a vacation rental, there is not enough toilet paper, paper towels, or garbage bags, but this house is well stocked. It was in a great lo ation. We had a wonderful time and hooe to be back.

Cute Little Bungalo

Great little bungalow in Seaside! The unit was very clean, modern and updated kitchen and bath fully stocked. Ample supply of coffee, comfortable beds and extra blankets for a cold night. Parking in the driveway was challenging with a large truck, but there is also parking on the street available. Would definitely stay again!

Great central location to visit Monterey or Carmel. Clean house and responsive owners.

A nice charming updated house in a safe neighborhood. House has been renovated in recent past and has a nice kitchen and a great, roomy layout. We found having the extra blankets and pillows to be a nice extra touch. Master bedroom has a huge walk-in closet. The two free guest passes to the aquarium were a nice added, plus! Getting into the driveway on the narrow street can’t be a little tight, so just exercise caution parking driveway and garage are in excellent condition. We would definitely recommend staying there again

Our second stay at this wonderful property

Our first stay was in 2016 and we were happy to be back. The property is beautiful, clean, and has everything you would need for your stay. The full bath has a large shower. The kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots, pans and utensils. The location is perfect and quite close to Cannery Row and the Aquarium. We are already planning our next stay.

Cute little house

Was good except needed a little upkeep: 2 clean bathrooms but 1 toilet wouldn’t flush, no hand soap, some residual black dog hair on bedroom floor, a broken cabinet hinge on door in kitchen, no central heat but fireplace in living room is a heater so front area of house warm but 2 bedrooms chilly at night. Otherwise very cute fairly well appointed little house.

Comfortable!

We found this little house to be the perfect size for 3 adults. Beds were comfortable, kitchen and baths were nice! Enjoyed the aquarium passes! A quiet neighborhood and it didn't take long to get to the many places we wanted to go! It was Christmas week, so I can understand the lack of responses to questions but it would have been nice to have better communication and the one replacement lightbulb we requested upon arrival. The heating situation worked out well, but we were a little concerned upon arrival, perhaps more clarity on the heating that is included in the stay.

Great time staying here

My family stayed here for a few nights with our 2 dogs and had a great time. The location is close to many fun attractions like ice skating and beautiful towns. Also, since we took our dogs to a nearby park our girls had a blast playing at the playground. It's in a neighborhood close to parks, stores, gas stations, etc. Also, I loved the artwork and light-color decor. Going to the Aquarium was lots of fun too.

Seaside Bungalow getaway

This 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath bungalow was updated/remodeled and quite comfortable. Great coffee maker! Mattresses seemed relatively new (always a bonus!) Our stay turned out to be during an unusual heat wave, so we wished there had been AC, but perhaps this is usually not a problem in that area. The only not so ideal things were that the exterior patio was quite dirty, the trash barrels were fully covered in cobwebs, wasp nests and spiders. And the welcome notebook wasn't all that "welcoming". We had hoped for a few restaurant suggestions, tips on where the local market was. Instead there was a 6-7 page "inventory" list, which was intimidating because at least 50% of those items were NO LONGER inside the home. With a cleaner exterior and an updated, helpful welcome book, we'd have given 5 stars.

nice house - unwelcoming neighbors

The house met our needs, but I did not feel safe walking the neighborhood alone. I felt trapped in the house. Upon our arrival, the neighbor across the street shouted, "Hi Renter. You need to back into the driveway. Look at the sign" He then planted himself in a chair a watched as my husband navigated the difficult the enter driveway. BY THE WAY - it is obviously easier to get out of the driveway, when you park head in first. The neighbors car is in direct shot of backing out. He will watch you. The two day later, I was walking our dog to the park one black over and was completely harrassed and yelled at by a very angry man. He accussed me of not picking up my dogs poop from across the street. I told him that my dag has not pooped, that I was on my way to the park with her STROLLER, and told him to come over to where I was and look for himself. He then followed me, yelling at me, threatening to call the police. I told him to "Please do so, for I feel threatened and would like to file a complaint" When I got back to the house, my husband was very upset to hear what I went through with this altercation. He went to speak with the man, he was no where to be found, Just harassing me, a 65 year old women walking their little white dog. I felt so unsafe, not sure if he was going to hurt me, I am shaking writing this. BTW. This was 10 in the morning. Would I return to Seaside. NO WAY.

Perfect Place for Girls week away

We needed a place near our friend taking care of her Great Aunt so we could get together and visit. This place was perfect. Very well stocked with what is needed, clean, and perfect size for us.
