Benvenuti alla Salt House, situata nella storica Seaside, Oregon! Questa casa a un piano restaurata del 1926 offre due camere da letto, due bagni completi, con spazio per un massimo di sei persone! Avrai accesso a un cortile dove i tuoi bambini potranno giocare insieme all'accesso alla spiaggia a pochi passi a ovest! Parcheggia di fronte alla Salt House e sali i cinque gradini per accedere all'interno di questa casa in stile vintage costiero recentemente rinnovata sulla costa dell'Oregon!

La veranda, piena di finestre e luce, è il posto perfetto per leggere, lasciare cadere le scarpe di sabbia, appendere i teli da mare e il comodo sedile dell'amore si apre in una doppia cuccetta in memory foam. Entra nella zona giorno principale per trovare pareti di navi, un divano in pelle e quattro sedie, una TV a schermo piatto e una splendida atmosfera rustica costiera. Assicurati di goderti i raffinati pavimenti in legno e le lampade vintage situate in tutta la casa! Avrai anche Wi-Fi, giochi da tavolo, libri, DVD e BluRays per divertirti durante il tuo soggiorno.

La sala da pranzo si trova appena fuori dal soggiorno, con un tavolo da fattoria con spazio per quattro dei tuoi ospiti. La cucina ha un bancone con due sgabelli per più posti a sedere. Gli ospiti sono invitati a gustare un pasto insieme nel soggiorno, o anche al di fuori sul ponte posteriore adiacente al cortile! Il ponte ha un barbecue che è possibile utilizzare per cucinare alcune costolette e verdure durante i mesi estivi! La cucina ha tutto il necessario per gustare un pasto caldo e cucinato sulla costa dell'Oregon. Avrai accesso a frigorifero, forno a microonde, forno / piano cottura, lavastoviglie, macchina per il caffè, tostapane e altro ancora. Pareti originali di navi, scaffali di legno aperti, nuovi mobili personalizzati blu navy, grande lavello della fattoria e ripiani in quarzo ti aspettano! Situato fuori dalla cucina, troverete il corridoio sul retro con lavatrice / asciugatrice, bagno completo con cabina doccia e carta da parati floreale in stile vintage. Il corridoio ha più ganci per giacche o teli mare e conduce al ponte posteriore e all'accesso al barbecue.

Proprio di fronte alla cucina e alla sala da pranzo si trovano entrambe le camere da letto, che condividono un bagno Jack-and-Jill completamente ristrutturato contenente una combinazione vasca / doccia, una nuova piastrella bianca della metropolitana e un pavimento piastrellato in stile vintage. Entrambe le camere offrono letti queen size e bellissimi letti di Pottery Barn, oltre a rivestimenti per finestre in alghe e pareti originali di navi.

Durante il soggiorno a Salt House, avrai molte cose divertenti da vedere e da fare nella città di Seaside! La passerella si trova a pochi passi o in auto verso sud, dove si trova un porticato, accesso alla spiaggia, l'Acquario di mare, negozi di caramelle e ristoranti! Hanno persino un cinema. Loved the Seaside Salt House

The Salt House was just right. Cute décor and good space. The neighborhood was pretty quiet, but only a few blocks from the promenade and beach, and walking distance to restaurants. (Sometimes 6 blocks or more, but we like to walk.)

Best location, perfect for family of 4

Had the best time at this stay! A short walk to the beach and just minutes to downtown make this location desirable. Our 2 small children couldn’t get enough of the open layout of the house. There’s plenty of room to play and keep an eye on the kids.

Good location, but house needs some love

This little house is cute and has a nice open layout. The location is within a few blocks of the promenade and beach access, and also just a short walk to downtown Seaside. It was a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is adequately stocked and has good appliances. Washer/dryer worked well. Good Wi-Fi and cable. What was disappointing? Beds were not comfortable. We suggest an upgrade to the mattresses and bedding. We had to wash two fleece blankets that were stored in the rooms before using because they were dusty and dirty. The bathrooms are small and not terribly clean (hair in the shower and spots the floor). There were ants in the kitchen, and the stovetop and oven were not clean. The key was nearly impossible to use in the back door next to the lock box. We only used the front door because of that. For the rate we paid for four nights, we expected a cleaner and more comfortable experience.

Lovely Redone Old House

Great location. House is located in a quiet neighborhood a block from the beach. Enough room in driveway for 2 cars. It was clean and stocked with plenty of towels, kitchen necessities.

Beautiful location!!!

We loved how close to the beach and prom! Perfect size for the 5 of us. No beach chairs so we went to the consignment store and bought 2 gently used chairs and left them there for future guests! Thank you for allowing us to stay here!

Beautiful remodel, great location

Nice, clean, comfortable house within easy walking to beach or shops on Broadway, aquarium, promenade. Quiet street. Space was nice with two bathrooms for 4 adults and a 5 year old.

Mini Getaway

We had a great three night stay at The Salt House in Seaside. Two adults, one toddler, and two children 7 and 9. I was very hesitant to travel, to someone else's remodeled home, with a toddler! However, once we arrived I did a quick walkthrough and didnt have to baby proof anything which was a relief. The two bedrooms are pretty good size. There is a super cute sunroom which is where we put the two older kids to hang out and sleep. The ONLY complaint was how hard the door was to open/close and lock. I know that is minor and I'm sure a quick fix. The decor was beautiful. The kitchen was amazing with a huge sink. The style I would say is distressed boho-farmhouse which was nice that beach theme was not ALL OVER. Location to downtown and the beach ...just a little walk. We would absolutely rent this house again. Thank you for welcoming me into your home.

Wonderful Time in a Beautiful, Thoughtful Home

My husband and I, with our two kiddos (ages 5 and 2.5), stayed here to celebrate his 40th birthday. The home is so lovely, magazine-perfect in decor. The layout is excellent too, with the ability to easily be together as a group, or a little removed for quiet time. The proximity to the beach was so great, and even our littles had an easy time walking to our destinations (namely, the ocean and the Aquarium). We used the spigot outside along the driveway to hose off sandy kids and feet. We were able to both cook our own meals easily (all the basics we needed were there) and get takeout to enjoy at the home together. The checkout procedures were simple and not time-consuming. There were books, games, cards, and DVDs available in the home for entertainment, should you need it. The TV was connected to all the streaming services, as well as live TV, so that we could watch easily. Only two complaints: the beds are really not very comfortable at all, and that's not usually something we're picky about. It genuinely feels like you're sleeping on a thin mattress full of springs. A mattress topper or an entirely new mattress on both beds (we didn't try the sofa bed) would fix that quickly. The other complaint is that the bathtub doesn't have a non-slip mat in the bottom, or other method to make it not slippery. Both kids and one of us adults slipped in it, and with all that gorgeous tile it could have been a serious injury. I know it's not the most aesthetically pleasing thing, but that would be an essential item for guest safety, in my opinion. One of the burners on the stove didn't work, but since the others did that wasn't a huge issue. We'd easily stay here again, and be hopeful the owners listened and that the beds were more comfortable next time!

Nice location, not very comfortable or clean

This charming place as pictured on the website has a very convenient location. Was disappointed by how messy and dirty the place was, from crumbs in the drawers, to a very dirty rug in the living room, to an old piece of pizza crust on the floor. The kitchen and the bathrooms were well decorated but one of the sinks is so small, it was impossible to wash your face or even brush your teeth using it. Took a very long time to get the hot water going. The mattresses were very poor. No support, no comport. If you care about sleeping in a comfortable bed, this isn't a place. The heater was very loud and had to stay off as to not wake us up in the middle of the night. Had no communication with the management company throughout the stay.

Wonderful home away from home!

We loved our stay here! The home was clean, cozy, and had everything we needed to enjoy a beach trip, including plenty of kitchen supplies, games, and books. The wifi was also great, which we used to work from home for a few days. It's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach and a quick drive down to Cannon Beach. We will definitely be back!
