Close-in Beautiful Retreat: Large, Lodge-Like Private Lakefront Setting

Goditi il ​​relax istantaneo mentre entri in questa splendida casa per gli ospiti sul lungolago di 4'400 m² con 4 camere da letto vicino a Seattle / Bellevue / Tacoma. Situato su 12 acri e 800 piedi di lungomare, la proprietà si collega a una foresta di 42 acri preservata da esplorare. Condividi storie intorno al pozzo del fuoco di notte, barbecue con grill a gas e goditi panorami mozzafiato sul prato e sul lago. Fai un giro sul lago in barca a vela, in canoa o in barca a remi. Portare scarponi e camminare attraverso il prato naturale e la foresta di seconda crescita. Goditi uno scivolo galleggiante mentre nuoti nelle acque pulite di Shadow Lake. All'interno godono di una grande Smart TV al plasma HD con xfinity, ping pong, calcio balilla, air hockey, camino a gas e una biblioteca di libri. Frigorifero / congelatore per il vostro cibo e un sacco di spazio dispensa. Metti i piedi in alto e resta un po '! We held a retreat here for 20 and it was lovely. Great meeting spaces in and out. Serene, lovely not far from Seattle. Would love it if there were more beds so more people could stay instead of driving back to the city but would love to come back!

We were visiting the area for just two days. A longer trip is necessary to really enjoy the lovely home, beautiful setting and all the amenities provided, including sailboat, kayaks, game room, etc. We even woke up to deer strolling across the property. Holly was a great host, answered questions promptly and provided all the extras that make a vacation special.

Absolutely beautiful home and property. Very comfortable and peaceful. Everything you could possibly need was available and more!I rented this for myself, children and grandchildren as we were attending my husband's Memorial Service at Tahoma National Cemetery. This property was just what we all needed for a heartbreaking and stressful situation. We were all able to relax and spend time together without any additional stress. My family and I Thank You from the bottom of our hearts.

Beautiful location and wonderful home!

This property worked very well for our family vacation! We did bring child proof door handle covers to keep the kids from wandering down to the lake without us. We LOVED watching the eagles and swimming in the lake (and the water slide). The owner was very communicative and accommodating!

Amazing Wedding Venue

Holly was amazing and helpful when needed. The house was great and very spacious and beautiful. We used it for our wedding venue and it was perfect. The event fee is very reasonable and you also have the option to have a dance floor and canopy tent added as well. The house has a lot of extra accommodations in case you forget your toiletries or cooking items. Overall great experience and very beautiful house and grounds.

Beautiful event location

We had our wedding here with about 45 guests, and it was absolutely perfect. Even in the unexpected June rain, the property was gorgeous and our guests were delighted by the wildlife and the fire pit. The house is very spacious and was great for hosting family from out of town. Holly was helpful and accommodating. My only regret is that we didn't book a longer stay - hopefully we'll be back sometime to enjoy the lake without the stress of a wedding.

Beautifully kept home in a beautiful location

We booked this home to hold a more intimate Celebration of Life for our mother. The space was perfect for this. Having the gane room kept the younger ones occupied. Having the bedrooms gave family & friends space if they needed breathe or cry in peace. So glad we found this.

Lovely home, but unfortunate shortfalls

The home's size and location fit our needs perfectly. We spent post-holiday time with family and enjoyed the festive tree and cozy fireplace. Rainy and cold weather allowed us to enjoy the ample rec room and ping-pong and foosball tables. The rental experience, though, fell short in three notable ways. 1. The listing states there's a washer and dryer. While true, a hand-scrawled note on the washer said it was to be used only in case of emergency. We'd been traveling for a week and were counting on using it but resigned to wear grubby clothes a few more days. 2. Host communication was disappointing. Messages sent weren't acknowledged and in one case a request was ignored. 3. While the overall home cleanliness was good, the kitchen could use a deep clean (sticky cabinets and knobs) and serious de-cluttering and organizing. Half of what's there could be tossed/replaced. I realize we were renters after a group that required the cleaning crew's full attention but bearing that brunt shouldn't have been our burden. None of this ruined our stay, but we hope future renters fare better than we did.

This place was perfect for our weekend. The house has plenty of room and feels very homey; not like "just a rental". The lake is beautiful. The property is big - kids could run around & others were down by the lake just enjoying the peace. It was so quite & dark - the stars were amazing.

Another Great Event

During COVID my husband and I got married on this property with just our immediate family in attendance. 3 year later, we decided to hold our long-overdue wedding reception here. We had about 50 people and this was the perfect kicked back venue.

Beautiful intimate backyard wedding

We had our wedding in the backyard here with 65 guests and it was everything we had hoped for and more! Holly was nice and helpful! The property is beautiful in nature and private but still relatively close to Seattle and everything you need. It’s better than the photos can capture, the meadow and water at golden hour are truly stunning. The house is huge and has so many extra things for hosting events and fun toys to play with on the water. There were dumpsters and enough parking. We used their buffet tables and a nice dance floor and more. We rented a 30 x 60 frame tent, luxury bathroom stalls, dining tables and chairs, and brought in other things. We had catering, a dj, and bartender and it all worked out great. The ceremony was set up near the water, we set up the picnic table and yard games in the middle area, and the bar, dining, and dancing near the house. We had family stay at the house and some others even stayed at some nearby houses on the lake and were able to boat over to the wedding. We made many great memories playing on the lake, sitting around the bonfire, watching eagles, and enjoying the sunsets. Hope to come back again soon!
