Carino West Seattle Cottage

Il nostro studio ha soffitti alti e grandi finestre che lo rendono leggero e luminoso. Ha un letto queen size, così come un letto a scomparsa queen-size, che consente un massimo di 2 adulti e 2 bambini in un ambiente di studio. Lo studio è particolarmente bello per una coppia o una piccola famiglia. (Purtroppo, non siamo in grado di ospitare 4 adulti.) Abbiamo anche un pack 'n' play, che possiamo fornire su richiesta. C'è una tv a schermo piatto da 42 "con cavo e lettore DVD, e una scrivania dove è possibile impostare il proprio laptop per sfruttare la nostra connessione internet wireless ad alta velocità.

In cucina, troverete un frigorifero, forno / piano cottura, macchina per il caffè e forno a microonde. Gli armadi sono pieni di tutti i piatti e le attrezzature di cui potresti aver bisogno durante il tuo soggiorno. Disponiamo di caffè e alcuni oggetti della dispensa per iniziare. Il bagno include tutte le necessità e alcuni extra. Ha solo la doccia, niente vasca.

Lo studio è situato sul lato nord della casa principale e vicino alla torre dell'acqua di Charlestown. Il cortile è un luogo piacevole dove rilassarsi. C'è anche un'area giochi per bambini nel cortile sul retro.

Sebbene tu possa sentirti a tuo agio in uno studio tranquillo e tranquillo, sarai a pochi isolati dal cuore del nostro quartiere. Cammina per la strada fino al West Seattle Junction, un hotspot pedonale con eccellenti opere d'arte, oggetti d'antiquariato, caffetterie, ottimi ristoranti, una farmacia, negozi di alimentari, tutto l'anno Sunday Farmer's Market e vita notturna.

Sei anche a poca distanza da Alki Beach, Lincoln Park e Elliot Bay Water Taxi. Alki Beach è un luogo ideale per il divertimento estivo e una splendida vista del centro; Il Lincoln Park è l'ideale per un'escursione nei boschi o un tuffo nella piscina di acqua salata. L'Elliot Bay Water Taxi da Seacrest Pier al centro di Seattle è un ottimo modo per godere di panorami mozzafiato su una breve corsa in centro ed evitare il parcheggio in centro. In auto, il centro di Seattle è a soli 10 minuti. Oppure, un'altra grande opzione senza problemi è quella di salire su un autobus della metropolitana e guidare solo 15-20 minuti.

The cottage was exactly as presented on the website plus more. It was sparkly clean with lots of home touches, including some great games, which added to its overall comfort and options for fun. The hosts were responsive and gracious. As a senior woman traveling by myself, I look forward to returning here for my next stay.

My stay was wonderful! The Cottage was perfectly clean and comfortable, with everything I needed. The host was incredibly thoughtful and communicated at exactly the right level (i.e., not too little/much). I would definitely stay at the Cottage again.

This cottage in West Seattle hit all the marks that a vacationer could want or expect. The layout is excellent. The bed is very comfortable. The smart TV is nicely situated and comfortable to watch from the couch or the bed. The location is convenient to cool bars and restaurants. And the hostess is accessible and friendly. Highly recommended!

My only regret is not staying longer. The cottage was very nice, my wife and I both said Wow at the same time as we entered. It’s a beautiful place, and the host was fabulous. I never got to meet Janet, but we communicated through the VRBO portal. She seems like she has a very sweet demeanor. She was very responsive and helpful, making suggestions to restaurants and sights. She had notes throughout saying, Help yourself to anything in the cabinet. I felt more like a family member than a customer.

This cute cottage in West Seattle met all our expectations, and exceeded some. As a person who uses a wheelchair, I can say that this cottage was by far the most accessible accommodations I have ever stayed at. The host was very helpful in suggesting things to do, and three best way of transport to get there. I would definitely stay here if I ever find myself in Seattle again! Thank you, Janet, it was a pleasure to meet up and chat.

The neighborhood is very quiet and cute, within walking distance from restaurants and shops. The cottage is open and bright and had everything we needed. We might suggest for guests who are light sleepers to bring eye masks since it is so bright. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there even were a lot of games, including pin ball and shuffleboard. We enjoyed our stay!

This place is bright with lots of windows, roomy and comfortable. The bed was great and plenty of pillow options to find the just right one. The kitchen is well stocked. The air conditioning was a nice treat. The garden outside is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. You are close to everything. Constellation Park is a 5 minute drive with great tide pooling. I enjoyed Ampersand Cafe on Alki with great coffee, breakfast items, and a waterfront view. There is also Metropolitan Market nearby with great produce, deli and hot bar. Janet was an incredible and thoughtful host.

We loved our stay in this guest house. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the Shafis are friendly and welcoming. It's pretty obvious that they put a lot of thought into preparing for guests, as the place is well stocked with the usual needs, plus games and even picnic supplies. There is also plenty of seating in their lovely garden, which alone is worth the price of admission. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again when we find ourselves in the area.

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for three days and we can't say enough about what a gem of a property it is.. The cottage is just adorable and one can see how much the property owners love this cottage by the decor, attention to detail, cleanliness, quality of furniture, lines, towels etc. The property is in a fabulous location (2 miles from the beach, a mile from the Junction (wonderful restaurants and stores), easy ride via car or water taxi into Seattle) and I know the next time we are in Seattle we will be staying there again. Janet and Roshon are the best hosts ever. We were fortunate to have met them in person and spent some quality time talking with them and getting to know them. They sincerely care about the well being of their guests, you just can't get any better. I've been using VRBO for my vacations for a long time and this one was the best ever.

We stayed here for 2weeks after husband’s surgery. It was a delight. Beautiful garden view, very good light from many windows. Wheelchair accessible shower and handrails. Excellent location with easy walk to stores, movies, shops. Wonderful owner.

This cottage was rented for visitors we hoped to encourage to move to Seattle. Since we rented this VRBO several times for different visitors, we obviously feel this is a fabulous place. Prior to booking, I viewed several VRBOs to assure the accommodation would give a favorable impression and this was the best one. The owner, Janet, was more than happy to answer my questions & allow me to see the place while some owners told me to read the reviews & view the online pictures. However, actually seeing a place provides additional information such as the immediate neighborhood (if our visitor wanted to walk around for an impression of West Seattle), the interior smell (dampness? fragrance?), ease of access (if our visitor might have any accessibility needs) and feeling of warmth while also having a lot of ambient light. The cottage is a detached, separate unit adjacent to the Owner’s home. But there were no noise or visual intrusions between the two. The cottage feels very private and is a great place to relax. It’s a pleasant 1 mile walk (~15-20 minutes) to the center of either Admiral Junction or Alaska Junction for a great selection of restaurants or a grocery store. Or, a downhill walk to Luna Park Café if a sumptuous breakfast is desired. Of course, with a vehicle all these are only 5 minutes away. Overall, the location, the neighborhood setting, the cottage & its amenities and the host are the very best!
