Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Spotless and well located -- great for a brief stay in the city. Don't expect personality (this does not feel like someone's home), but it had everything we needed. The management company was communicative and friendly. Bring earplugs, as the plumbing from above is a bit loud -- but I wouldn't let this deter you from staying. Recommend overall.

Good spot but terrible check in

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of the apartment is great and the apartment itself is clean but basic and a little dark. The check in/out process is a nightmare since the key has to be retrieved downtown, adding unnecessary trips and the inconvenience of hauling luggage all over town.

Keycafe

Everything was wonderful with the property. The locations of the key cafes were less than ideal. Prior to my arrival, I was directed to a keycafe in a dangerous part of Seattle that was also far from the property. I was able to get the key from a different location, but still far from the property. There is a QFC closer to the property that also was in a much safer location. I had my son return the keys for me, as I was leaving at 5 am. He tried one keycafe, and it was full. So, he was directed to two locations that were far and very sketchy. If I had tried to return the keys myself, I would have had to hopefully get my Lyft driver to take me to different keycafe in different locations until I could find one that wasn’t full. And, possibly lose my Lyft ride, and/or miss my flight. When I stayed in Seattle three years ago, I didn’t have to go through all of this running around for keys. Sending tourists to notoriously dangerous neighborhoods with luggage that are miles away from the rental property is a potentially dangerous practice.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Though I wasn't in Seattle for vacation, my stay in Candice's studio in North Capitol Hill was great! The studio is clean, charming and comfortable; and its location is ideal, with lots of cafes, restaurants and shops nearby, as well as easily accessible public transportation close by.

Smith Stay on 11th Street in Seattle

The condo was new and very clean. Parking a car is challenging but can be done. We were visiting our daughter who lives in the neighborhood so location was great for us. We missed not being able to see out a window to check on the weather. There were no instructions provided on how to connect to commercial television for local broadcast channels. Experienced a lot of frustration over trying to accomplish this. Had difficulty connecting to the internet with the given instructions. Could not locate the box under the TV as instructed. Could not locate the iron and ironing board that was listed as available. Would have been nice to have kleenex available.

Hidden Gem at Capitol Hill

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Candice's place is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered. It is in a great location, very accessible. The place was very clean and communication with Candice was very easy. Great recommendations on food nearby. And the view from the rooftop is so beautiful. My only regret is that I was only there for a night. I would definitely recommend Candice's place and will make sure to look it up when I am in the area again. Thank you for being such an awesome host.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: New and very clean small condo. We were visiting our daughter who lives in the neighborhood so the location was great for us. Parking a car was a challenge on the streets but can be done. We had difficulty connecting to the internet using their directions. Could not locate the box under the television. We could not connect to local television stations. We also could not locate the iron and ironing board listed as available. Wish Kleenex would have been provided.
