“We loved our stay at La Rose Hotel. The front desk was very accommodating and friendly. In fact, I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a different room to suit my needs. We stayed at the carriage house, which is next to the hotel. Our room was huge and had a lovely marble bathroom. The bathroom was massive and had a tub shower combo. Our beds were comfortable and I especially loved the soft comforter! Additionally, our room had a little balcony which was lovely. ”

The only detail that emerged was that the room had no "Do not disturb " sign and the cleaning lady opened the room at 10 AM while we still were there. “Front desk clerk was wonderful, he was friendly and helpful. He recommended places to eat. Keep in mind most are closed during the week. We got coffee and breakfast at Bohemian Market, had lunch at Howard Station Cafe. We had a pizza and salad at Union Hotel. We wanted to try Negris and Hazel but both were too busy on a Sunday. Beds were soft and comfortable. The pool was too cold to use but it was a nice place to sit. If you’re adventurous I’d recommend the zipline course two miles away. ”
