Heres my response... Cathie had a Penske moving truck the day of her arrival and brought a large freezer and plugged it in outside. Cathie moved in a bookshelf, a crib, a highchair, all her plants and misc. items without permission. Cathie brought a large dog which shed everywhere. Cathie ruined the sink which I have documented with VRBO and sent her photos. Cathie unplugged my refrigerator and pulled out all the ice trays to melt everywhere upon checkout. Cathie moved decorative items that were inside and scattered them all around the garden area. (a flying glass pig that was located on top of the refrigerator to an outside table)(Bowls that were inside a cabinet to the outdoors.) Cathie planted plants in my garden troughs and said she was doing me a favor. (weird because I have my own Vegetables that I plant every year and have a gardener) Cathie told my gardener he was not allowed over there while she was staying there. Cathie was completely disrespectful to the property upon check out and did not follow any protocol. (photos and videos are on the Message center and I opened a case immediately with VRBO) Cathie could not figure out the one remote which there were explicit instructions and called us several times which my husband went immediately and pushed the button for her. She was shown over and over again and directed to the instruction binder sitting on the coffee table in front of her which she ignored. Cathie said the house was not clean..I get 4.5 to 5 star reviews and am a super host. I have a professional cleaning company who COVID clean before guests come in.. REALLY? Cathie says that it was too crowded with my stuff so she felt claustrophobic. People rave about the amenities that I offer. It seems to me it was crowded because of all the crap she moved in. As you can see Cathie likes to tell tall tales. She costs $250.00 for extra cleaning and $145.00 for carpet cleaning from her dog $180.00 to sand down the coffee stained sink by a handyman. Small claims here I come.

Interesting that a guest would pay less than $100 per night and ask for alcohol to be provided for his cocktail. Mixers and fresh herbs are provided for folks to mix with the alcohol they bring as a courtesy. I have never heard of a person with that kind of expectations. Alcohol is not free at hotels ever. We would not rent to this person ever again as they left the place a disaster. There is explicit check out detail posted. The left the sink full of dirty dishes and piled the dishes on top of margarita glasses which broke 2. They left the toilet seat up with something in there. Cooked onions or something smelly and left it in the trash along with the garbage full and beer cans on the counter. As an adult you would expect a person to at least read the checkout instructions and be a courteous guest. I have photos to show.
