Welcome to Sweet Mountain View Cabin — your deep-country escape with the views, the quiet, and the “I’m-never-going-home” hot tub.

Tucked away in Albert County’s backcountry, this cabin gives you everything you want in a getaway: wide-open mountain views, total privacy, and the kind of silence you didn’t know you were craving until you got here.

Step outside and you’re literally on the trails — ATV trails right from the front door, and snowmobile groomed trails just minutes from the cabin. In winter, you can ride straight from your morning coffee to the powder. In summer and fall, explore miles of scenic ATV routes without ever loading a trailer.

Inside, the cabin blends rustic charm with modern comfort. Outside… well, outside is where the magic is. Soak in the hot tub while the mountains put on a show. Sit on the deck and watch the sky turn orange. Or stay up late and stargaze — no city glow here, just a whole galaxy above your head.

  • When in New Brunswick you must visit Hopewell Rocks before more pillars come tumbling down. These pillars (also known as flower pots) have been caused by tidal wave erosion and span up towards 70 feet tall. During low tide you can walk along the ocean floor to catch a close up view of their enormous size. As this is a very popular tourist spot, during the summer months you can expect it to be extremely busy. Parking is free but there is a fee to go into the park to see the rocks. If you want to walk on the ocean floor, I recommend that you check their website before you are expecting to leave to view when low tides will occur as this is the only time you can do this. The park is dog-leash pet friendly (meaning keep your dog on a leash and all will be well) - however dogs are not permitted in any of the main buildings such as the gift shop etc. There is a playground area for the kiddies, a small cafeteria style restaurant, gift shop, washrooms, and information station. If you view all the key highlights of the park you can expect to spend about 3 hours here with a total hiking / walking time of approx. 6 to 7 KM with some trails at steeper elevations (such as the beach trail).

Sweet Mountain View cabin is charming, well kept, and had all the amenities we needed. The area is remote, quiet, and beautiful. We loved the hot tub and woodstove for our girls winter weekend getaway. Josh was very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a serene place to relax and have fun! I do recommend that you have the door passcode written down before you arrive as there is no cell service and you won't be able to access your VRBO account until you are inside and can access the wifi.
There was a nice welcome basket waiting for us!
The living room was a cozy place to curl up after being in the hot tub!
The hot tub is huge and oh so good!
