“A super (and well-priced) option on Leisure Isle, with comfy beds, a small kitchenette, a refreshing small pool and friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent, and cooked fresh to order, and the rooms were made up punctually every day. As with many places in SA, wifi was spotty and not super-fast, but this is no fault of the guesthouse as Leisure Isle is not on the information super-highway! Overall, an excellent choice and certainly excellent value for money in an expensive town. ”

“The place has a great view of the ocean, but the rooms are disappointing for the price you pay as there are none of the regular items you'd expect, such as a microwave or ice trays. There is a notice in the room that all kitchen items have been removed due to fire hazards, but all the other places we went to simply upgraded to improve their safety and still provide guest with the needed items. “I was extremely disappointed at check-in. The only request I had made was a ground floor room which was provided. However, I had expected breakfast and was told it was a self-catering accommodation. I asked about breakfast and was led to believe that was doubtful and being able to invite a guest not allowed!
