Welcome to the Thunder Mountain Chateau, your private sanctuary in the heart of West Sedona. Located at the base of Thunder Mountain, this home is located within walking distance to the Teacup Trailhead or a quick 4 minute drive to 2 other famous trailheads in West Sedona. This immaculate home has been newly renovated & tastefully updated to provide a cozy yet stylish space. Come enjoy everything Sedona has to offer, we look forward to hosting you!

Warm, cozy, and inviting, this home will provide you and your travel mates a wonderful sanctuary to rest and recharge after a long day on the trails or sightseeing. This home features 3 full sized bedrooms and an additional sleeping nook off the main master bedroom, which is best used for children or related parties (see details below). Bedroom 1 (King Bed) + Sleeping Nook: The primary bedroom is large and very private from the other two bedrooms. There is an adjacent sleeping nook located off the primary bedroom (see photos) with a twin trundle bed that can sleep two people comfortably. Please note that guests in the sleeping nook will either share the primary bathroom or walk through the primary bedroom to access a bathroom. The sleeping nook is best used for children or related parties who are comfortable with one another.

Bedroom 2 (Queen Bed): Located on the opposite side of the house off of the kitchen area. Please note that this bedroom shares a bathroom with Bedroom 3.

You will have access to the entire home. This is a wonderful home in a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood in West Sedona.

We live in Sedona and are nearby if you need anything but we respect our guest`s privacy.

This is a quiet, residential neighborhood with single-family homes on all sides. Here, you have some of Sedona`s best up-close views of the red rocks.

Walk the peaceful neighborhood streets, or walk just a few minutes to Sugar Loaf Trailhead. This trailhead is the gateway to miles of trails, with access to Teacup Trail, Sugar Loaf Summit Trail, and even Soldiers Pass if you`re feeling ambitious! No need to contend with busy trailhead parking!

You are also less than a 10-minute drive to numerous West Sedona shops and restaurants, along with four (!) major grocery stores. Many Sedona residents agree that this is one of the best locations in town!

We have ample onsite parking for up to four vehicles (please use the driveway instead of the street). The home is in a quiet, walkable neighborhood that is also a short drive to many local amenities and trails.

Violating any of the house rules can lead to your reservation being canceled immediately without a refund.

• We do not charge extra for additional guests. However, the number of guests staying MUST match the number of guests specified on the reservation. No unregistered guests are allowed on the property at any time.
• Pets are not allowed. Any evidence of pets may incur a $500 deep cleaning fee.
• No smoking or vaping inside or on property. Any evidence of these activities may incur a minimum $1,000 deep cleaning fee.
• Fires, candles, fireworks, and other open flames are prohibited
• No firearms allowed on property
• Do not move furniture
• Do not unplug, move, or tamper with electronic devices (WiFi, security system, locks, etc.)
• Parties, special events, and retreats are not allowed per City of Sedona local ordinance
• Minimum age to book a reservation is 25 years old. Additional guests may be younger.
• Guest making the reservation must have identity verified through Airbnb and a current phone number listed
• A $25 shipping and handling fee applies to items left behind

We are committed to complying with state and local regulations, which is why you will be asked to complete a guest verification process after booking.

You will receive an email and a text with a link to complete the verification. This process is completed by a third party company called Truvi. We do not see any of your private information.

Truvi will collect a damage deposit. If no damage is discovered after your stay, this deposit is fully refundable with the exception of a $10 processing fee.

Please be sure to complete this process WITHIN 24 HOURS of making your reservation. If the verification process is not completed, we cannot legally host you and we will be forced to cancel your reservation, potentially without a refund.
