“The property is being renovated. The rooms have been remodeled and are nice. The location is great. The staff was great and accommodating. I kinda want to keep this place a secret but they deserve kudos for what they have. ”

“Arrived after a 14 hour drive to a room with a cockroach. Went back to the front desk, requested a new room. New room was dirty, bathtub filthy and smelled of Marijuana. Glad I booked through Expedia so I could leave and get a refund. Lots of homeless people in and around the hotel. I don’t need anything fancy but I definitely wouldn't stay here. Sleeping in the car sounded like a better option.”

“Great location and value! There were no blankets in the room so we had to ask for those. Also, the living room phone didn’t work. Only there overnight but would love to stay longer some time.”

“The hotel was under construction so there was no pool and no area for breakfast. The construction noise was loud and there was dust everywhere. The walk to the beach was not short. I will never stay here again. Many better hotels for the same price.”

“The property is located just a few minutes from Carlsbad Village. The beach is in walking distance. The hotel offers bicycles, beach chairs and towel. They also have a shuttle that can take you anywhere within a 5 mile radius. We enjoyed the spa where we had a couples massage. All the employees from the front desk to the wait staff and room attendants were so nice. We had a balcony with a view of the pool and the ocean. It was so peaceful and relaxing! ”

“NOT a SAFE place. Police was on the property. Drug activity. Someone tried to get inside my car while I was inside the car with my kids. There was squatter. Someone broke window and there was broken class everywhere. All of these things were all associated with different people. Gang activity and drug users. Did not feel safe sleeping there ”

“Vanessa at the front desk as great, the room was very clean, the jacuzzi was clean. The guys driving around in golf carts saw me and my girlfriend carrying all of our luggage and didn’t stop to see if we needed anything. Other than that, the layout of the resort is pretty bad with zero signs anywhere. Self parking is expensive and in a dirt lot. Won’t be back.”
