The staff is gracious and friendly and always willing ti held with a reservation for a local excursion to the Coffee/Chocolate Plantations or the Adventure parks in the area. our visit was truly outstanding!”

“Very nice family owned property with cabins in good condition and breakfast included. They don’t push for tours and you are free to choose your own tour company. There were bugs in the bedrooms and on the bed which we had to clear but that is expected in a eco resort in the mountains surrounded by woods.
The bathroom was very spacious and nice. Only issue was the hot and cold water was not mixing well and only producing luke warm water ”

“The place is big and has everything we need (blankets for cold nights or AC for hot weather, hair dryer, towels plus everything to cook). The place is quiet, surrounded by nature and just far enough from Santa Elena (5 min drive). You do need a 4x4 to get to Las Marias.

“Honestly this place was great. I saw birds roght out my patio window and looked out to the mountains. It was a great value and the owner and his family were very friendly and welcoming. Take the short hike to the top of the property and enjoy an amazing view. This was such a cool place to stay. The room was extremely comfortable.”

Everything was wonderful—the room with wooden furnishings and a terrace overlooking a spectacular view made the experience unique. The people are definitely what make this place special and your experience in Costa Rica unforgettable. Thank you, David, for the warm welcome and travel advice.
