This has been a really grand upmarket property in it's day, but to be honest that day has moved on, while still a nice property it is now in need of refurbishment.
The staff were lovely and always there to help, the breakfasts were OK, not great selection however.
The big disappointment was the pool, bullet proof kids with no fear of the cold might love it but for us the water was always freezing, we went to our friends resort and used their pool for a swim, kind of defeated the purpose of the extra dollars we spent for a private pool.
Also, strongly recommend you consider sorting your own airport transfer, emailed prior for airport pick up and drop off, was told pick up service was 300,000-rupee, bout right for shuttle 150 each way, however, turns out that this was 300,000 one way, quite dishonest representation in correspondence, when I questioned this they showed me a copy of the email, with the line 300,000, one way in different type, at the bottom, unlucky for them I had the original on my phone... left a sour taste, shouldn't expect that from what is supposed to be one of the more upmarket properties.
Also clarify housekeeping charge, no mention of this in either room, their office, or correspondence, but was going to be charged for each day until I queried it upon checkout, at which point it was removed.
