“We loved the property, pool, kitchen and hot tub. I highly recommend it.”

“The location is perfect in Tahoe City, right across the street from The Commons. It was close to great food, drinks and bakery’s. I stayed in room 8, which was on the top floor. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and of high quality. I slept really well and it was very quiet. I appreciated the shampoo, body lotion and conditioner. The thing I DIDNT LIKE was the check in process. I sent them 3 texts asking them how I check in with no response. I later found 4 emails from them...

“The rooms are basic. Parking is free. Breakfast is as advertised. We did not eat anything offered. No coffee in rooms. Acceptable lodging passing thru.”

“BEWARE! If you are booking through a third party, the fees are NOT the same as what is advertised. And management does not address any issues. Was charged the most that I’ve ever been charged for a pet cleaning fee, and the room had dog hair on the headboard when we checked in. It’s completely outdated, old TVs, no device charging setups. It looks as if the last time they put money into upgrades was over 10 years ago. It is not a good value. KEEP DRIVING!!! There are way better accommodations...

“Owner was very pleasant and worked with me after an extremely long drive and allowed me to check in earlier than expected. Great stop and easy to walk to the beach. Liked the vintage feel of the property but some areas around the bed could be cleaned better”

“Room, kitchen, bathroom, family room was clean. Only issue was the sink and shower faucet was very stiff and hard to adjust. Quiet and the balcony was wonderful. Convenient location.”

“Very cozy place to stay. The property has a lot to offer however, we came early June and the restaurant and a few other things open late June. That was unexpected for me. Otherwise a great stay. Cozy in the woods. Our room was cabin like feel but clean and a hotel room. We enjoyed it.”

“After reading all the positive reviews I was expecting a room that was remodeled motel room. It was musty, stains on carpet, old fridge and the door needed painting. The nice thing is once it gets dark, you don't see all the scuffs. The only good thing were the beds and linens. Even the towels and wash cloths needed replacing. I don't think I will return”
