“It’s an older motel, but has been updated. However, it needs another update. The room was clean and the mattress comfortable. The AC was super noisy and the door felt like it wasn’t 100% secure. They did tell me they’re in the process of replacing all the doors.”

“Ruth the front desk operator was very nice and pleasant to communicate and deal with. Room was nice and clean. Great location. Air conditioner work very well. Shower was hot and relaxing. Will stay again.”

“The location was good. Hotel is old and needs updating. The grounds are not well maintained. High grass, lots of dead leaves near the entrance and no pruning to trees. Staff at front desk were not welcoming or engaging. Breakfast was just OK. Not what we expected for the price we paid.”

“We came to the Helen area for an event that kept us away from the property most of our time. We found the location to be the BEST feature for our stay. Close to Helen but away from the hustle and bustle of the "tourist attractions". We enjoyed the morning view of Yonah Mt. and the lush tree landscape, peaceful and quiet. The property is fairly well maintained and our room was a 4 out of 5 on cleanliness. A few swipes with a bug brush along the tongue and groove ceiling to remove old spider webs...

“Ok... So there's definitely NOT a pool. It's was as low end as it gets ... Like, we walked outside and found a bullet on the ground right outside the door. They double booked the room, so someone else had keys to our room.... ”

“The staff sets up a text conversation when you checkin. I had a question about the location of a light switch. They answered promply. My only complaint is the free breakfast. It is a bunch of indiviually wrapped muffins etc. Fortunately, there are a lot of good restaurants that serve breakfast.”

“Riverbend was in an excellent location. Very easy walk to restaurants and shops. The beds were very comfortable and the shower was super nice. I will stay here again.”
