There was a serious lack of proper and proactive communication throughout my stay.
First, there was no information provided that the gym and facilities are closed every Tuesday of the month. I had planned my schedule around using the gym in the evening, and this completely disrupted my plans. When I approached the front desk to ask why guests were not informed, I was told that the information had been shared with Expedia. However, I was never notified.
On the second day, I went to the gym 30 minutes before closing, as I saw it closes at 10pm. I was then told entry is not allowed after 9pm. This was not clearly communicated anywhere. The staff member’s attitude was unfriendly. He avoided eye contact, responded in an impatient tone, and appeared more focused on his own tasks and conversations. The service felt unprofessional and poorly trained.
On the third day, there was confusion regarding parking charges. I understood that one parking space should be complimentary, but I was charged. It appeared the system was based on one registered car plate rather than one car per day. The explanation was unclear, and the staff’s tone made it feel as if they were doing me a favour rather than assisting a guest. There was no acknowledgement of inconvenience.
Overall, there was a clear lack of communication, service mindset, and customer care. This was very disappointing.
