Scenic Solitude is a beautifully remodeled 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom cabin that offers comfort, privacy, and breathtaking views of English Mountain. With almost 2300 sq ft of living space, this cabin sits on 1.5 acres, accessed by a dead-end road, ensuring peace and tranquility. The cabin boasts granite countertops, wood flooring, and new furniture throughout. Relax in the cozy living room, complete with a stone gas fireplace and a 60" flat-screen TV, or step outside onto one of the three covered decks to take in the views.

The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, beautiful cabinetry, and a large breakfast bar. Enjoy meals together at the farmhouse dining table or whip up quick snacks with ease. The king master suite has its own private screened-in porch, while the second king bedroom offers a restful escape with views of the mountains.

The lower level features a private theater room with an 85" TV and surround sound, as well as a game room with a pool table, air hockey, full bar, and seating area. The hot tub is located in a secluded screened area for privacy and relaxation. The outdoor fire pit area is perfect for stargazing, roasting marshmallows, or just enjoying the fresh mountain air.

Enjoy the best of both worlds: seclusion with easy access to local attractions.

New year

TVs were very confusing. There needs to be detailed constructions on how to work each of them in each room. Internet was down the majority of the trip which affected using smart TVs. We did not receive a code to the game room check-in. The icemaker would not make ice. The refrigerator did not get very cold. And the temperature but was broken on the hot tub. The rest was great! Plenty of room and a great layout for a family.

Even better than expected!

This cabin was perfect for our family vacation. We arrived to find plenty of parking and a beautiful property. The views were breath taking sunrise to sunset. The cabin did not disappoint as it was very well maintained and clean, which was one of my top concerns when staying away from home. There was plenty of space to spread out or spend the evening together. Perfect for our large group of all ages. The drive up to the cabin was steep but we got used to it after a few trips into town. It was well worth the views in my opinion. We even saw a black bear our first day which was very exciting! Stony Brook Cabins did not disappoint!

Beautiful cabin

The cabin exceeded all expectations, extremely clean and plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 kids (4 of them teenagers). Absolutely loved this cabin. The only negative is the extremely steep road to get to cabin (which I asked about when I booked). The 1st night it snowed and there was ice on the road and property manager would not allow us to check in, leaving all 9 of us stranded during a holiday week. Cabin is excellent, location is questionable in winter if it snows and property manager is not at all helpful.
