Room was super clean. Overall decor is old fashioned - country style but that is intentional. Staff was very attentive. Just my personal opinion is that It felt like I was in another person’ house and not a “paying guest”, so for me that felt kind of weird, so I preferred to be inside the room while I was there, but it was just me, and nothing to do with the hotel.

Such a nice clean place.. they go out of their way for everything!! Breakfast was wonderful, and we did their dinner. It was amazing.

I am SO glad that Blue Mountain Mist lists with hotels.com! It was EXACTLY what I was looking for! It is a family-run B&B where you FEEL like part of the family! We will DEFINITELY be returning!

Outstanding location and mountain top view. Main house and grounds beautifully restored. We stayed in one of the cottages. Beautiful and secluded. Inside equipped with a full kitchen, living room, dining area, bedroom, jacuzzi, bathroom and more. Outside had nice back porch with chairs and a porch swing. Breakfast was included each day either delivered to our cottage or in the main dining room. Cute cats around the property. Convenient drive time of ten minutes to most all attractions. Will definitely return and recommend.

Bottom line - this place is not as advertised. We anticipated a marvelous stay, based upon the reviews. instead we arrived to find the entire staff gone, with the exception of one young woman who told us (repeatedly) that she was left on duty from 0700 - 10pm for a solid week, while the owners went on vacation - leaving her alone to do literally all the work- including cooking and serving the breakfasts, cleanup and reception. It was nuts - we felt awful for her. the property itself has a very limited view, and the 'trail' is nothing but a grass field with a mowed path that passed nothing. they advertised a spa on site, but it was closed for the first 3 days we stayed, and when they finally answered their phone on day 4, it was to tell us that their spa staff (who would be normally doing facials) was temporarily filling in at the hotel, so there was no availability. Added to that, each morning, when breakfast was served, it could not be eaten until we all prayed to Jesus. Had that aspect been advertised, we would have at least known to stay elsewhere - but it's not written anywhere. We ended up leaving a day early and just the expense because we were so uncomfortable.

Michele Thank you for your review of our property. I am sorry that you feel that your stay was not what you intended it to be. I am hoping that that was not a reflection on Chantel who volunteered her services and went above and beyond the week that the owners were gone to insure that our guests had a wonderful stay. The Spa is closed every Sunday and Monday as advertised on the website and on Google. I am unaware of a reason we were closed a 3rd day, and yes one of our 2 estheticians was helping at the main house. We also don't hide the fact that we are a Christian-owned and operated business and it is stated on our website and in many reviews that we say a treating and bless the food before we serve.

Herrlich gemütlich
Wunderbar ruhig gelegen mit Aussicht auf die Hügel. Es gibt am späten Nachmittag ein kleines Kuchenbuffet. Man trägt in eine Liste ein, ob man beim Frühstück alleine oder mit Fremden sitzen möchte. Eine tolle Idee, wir haben das Kennenlernen anderer Reisender sehr genossen. Das angebotene Dinner ist zu teuer. Wer sein Steak nicht mit warmem Tee oder Coke genießen möchte, muss seine Getränke selbst mitbringen.

We had a beautiful mid-week, mid- winter visit for 2 nights. The facility was well maintained and clean. We had no concerns and would certainly like to return for another visit.

Wonderful bed and breakfast , staff were great. Wood fireplace in the lobby next to couches, books , coffee and evening desserts were idyllic. Best part was meeting the other guests in the family room type of lobby - we made new friends while on vaca. My wife also used the spa and had a great experience ( deep tissue massage. )

The cottage had rustic charm but all the conveniences and comforts of a little home tucked in the beautiful woods. Breakfast at the gathering room in the inn was not only delicious but fun to be seated around other guests to visit and share! The property is managed with love and service to guests.

Lovely farm house that has the look of having been on the property for generations but is actually only 35 years old. Filled with antiques and farm house/country decor. The owners Christian faith is important to them and is on display throughout the inn. Staff is lovely. Super friendly and accommodating. Home made breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room on traditional country dining room tables and chairs. Gorgeous property and lovely wraparound porch offering many relaxing seating options. Rooms comfortable and decor country antiques.

Great place to stay. Would probably stay here again. The only disappointment was breakfast. Food was excellent….service was something else. Breakfast at 8:00 rarely means food at 8:20. Very disappointing. Breakfast was the only negative of our stay.

My wife and I really liked this bed and breakfast. The breakfasts were always delicious, and we never left hungry. Our one complaint was the jacuzzi tub/shower combination. Getting in and out of the tub was very dangerous. We never slipped, but we were both afraid that this might happen.

What a beautiful piece of property! We were welcomed in by the staff and enjoyed our conversations with some of them and other guests. We feel fortunate to have found this place run by such warm, genuine people! We stayed at the cottage with the king bed and pullout couch. It was so cute! The kitchen and bathroom could both use updating but they were fine. The bed was comfy- a little extra soft topper would be useful. The friendly cat came by and sat with us outside too!

It is always a great stay at the Blue Mountain Mist! The breakfast was amazing as usual. The staff was top notch. My wife and I will return for a 5th time soon!

We loved the cottage we stayed in and the fact that it is Christian owned. The staff was amazing. We loved the breakfast and you will definitely have to stay and eat supper. The food is wonderful!! Blue Mountain will definitely get our business from now on.

Picturesque and peaceful. Stayed there in May and recently in October- both times in two different rooms the beds were uncomfortable. Could not get comfortable. They were hard/or lumpy. Just replace them.

George, I believe you stayed in the Ramsey Cascade room this last stay and that is one of the rooms that is getting a new bed. We were supposed to have them in September but the company is behind on production. We should have all new beds by your next stay. Thank you!
