BEWARE actually 0.0/10. This was meant to be a two-week family grad/Xmas trip, but the cabin was not rental-ready. We arrived after a long drive and could not get in due to a malfunctioning door lock and unclear instructions. After waiting in the cold and multiple delays from the host, my husband entered through an unlocked window. The do lock requires a non-intuitive “technique” due to poor installation, which should be repaired or clearly explained.That first night there was no Wi-Fi or TV service; this was evenrually turned back on. Then the TV required logging into personal streaming accounts.The next morning, serious plumbing issues appeared: flushing toilets or using the washer caused sewage to back up into a shower. The host was initially unresponsive. A plumber was eventually promised but did not fix the issue. One person arrived without tools, attempted plunging (which we had already been doing), said he would return with equipment, and never did.After multiple contacts with Vrbo, we were relocated to another property. Communication from the host was inconsistent and paused at times until Vrbo intervened.While the cabin looks nice, access issues, poor communication, and unresolved plumbing made it uninhabitable. The high rating does not reflect our experience and aligns more with several lower reviews posted in mid-2025. We are experienced users of vacation rental platforms. Other vacationers need to be aware of this info.
