Welcome to Bear Retreat located at the base of Dogwood Farms. This Wears Valley Cabin Rental is perfect for couples or families on the go. Convenient to Pigeon Forge, Townsend, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, 2 Bear Retreat provides accommodations for a group of 4.

2 Bear Retreat offers main level living at its finest! The bedroom on the lower level is locked off - but the rest of the cabin is yours to enjoy during your stay.

As you enter the cabin, a small step up is all that is required to gain access to the covered front porch area. Inside guests are greeted to a warm atmosphere of plushness and simplicity mingled with sophistication. The open floor plan allows families and friends to gather round and enjoy spending time together reminiscing about time well spent in The Great Smoky Mountains.

The living room area has ample seating to gather round. The seasonal gas fireplace adds warmth to cold winter nights as you gather round to catch a movie on TV.

The fully equipped kitchen provides a pleasurable atmosphere for cooking up family favorites and enjoying a meal together at the dining room table. The smiles on your family's face will bring joy to your heart.

To the right of the living room, a hallway bathroom is on the left side of the hallway and a bedroom with King Size Bed is on the right. Get a great night's rest and be ready to take on another day in the Smoky Mountains National Park.

To the left of the living room, the Master Suite offers complete relaxation. A King Size Log Bed, TV, and ensuite Bathroom. As of 07/12/2020, due to the necessity of water conservation, we will no longer be renting the cabin with the indoor whirlpool tub.

Outside on the main level back deck, gather round in the summer months at dusk, and bear watch. You might be just lucky enough to see a bear meandering through the yard. As nightfall rolls in, lights out. Watch the synchronous lighting of the Fireflies as they playfully light up the night sky.

Downstairs, the game room provides hours of indoor playtime for friends & family. The pool table and foosball table are excellent options for rainy days in the Smokies. A Pac-Man Arcade Game Table adds hours of entertainment.

Outside on the lower deck, an outdoor hot tub, glider, and additional seating can be found. The outdoor charcoal grill can be easily accessed from this level too.

When considering a family vacation, Bear Retreat is truly a fantastic choice.

If you need lodging for other family members, Peek-A-View and Breathless View are located in Dogwood Farms too.

***Pool and fishing pond access located at Honeysuckle Meadows Pool & Deli off of Happy Hollow Road in Wears Valley. Located approximately 8 minutes from the cabin.

There in no cost to use the pool or fishing pond. This is Included in your rental.
Fishing pole rentals available onsite in season.

Emotional Support Animals: Per official ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) guidance, emotional support animals (ESAs) are not covered by federal public accommodations laws. We do not accept emotional support animals in non-pet friendly cabins since these animals are not protected by any applicable federal, state, or local laws or regulations regarding short term lodging in Tennessee. Renters with emotional support animals may only bring their ESA with them if they are staying in a pet friendly cabin and pay the relevant $75.00 non-refundable pet fee. Renters with service animals for a disability are explicitly protected under both federal and state law. The ADA defines service animals as dogs that have been “trained to perform a task directly related to a person’s disability.” Service animals are explicitly protected under both state and federal law, and, as such, are welcome in any of our cabins.
